Taking fresh towels she wiped dry his hand. Her actions were so gentle that Feng Jianyu's heart warms up.

Hearing this, a weird feeling of self-guilt crawled through Xiu Mei's body. Her grip tightened on the cotton ball she was holding. Taking a deep breath she forced herself to relax her stiff limbs.

As she was patching Feng Jianyu's wound, Xiu Mei's phone rang that was kept beside her. She glanced at it, only to find that Xion's assistant Wu Zixin was calling her. But her hands were smeared with medicine not allowing her to take the call.

”It's ok… I'll help you” Before she could ignore the call, Feng Jianyu answered it and holds the phone against her ear. She was caught off guard by this sudden action as her intention was to call back Wu Zixin later.

”Hey…”

Wu Zixin: ”Miss. Mei, ummm… Boss told me to…..”

”I know what his order is. Just tell him he missed his chance…”

Wu Zixin: ”Miss. Mei, Please… ”

”It was not my fault this morning yet I tried once… Now no more” Before Wu Zixin could say anything further she jerked her head away from the phone, ”Hang Up” she mouthed Feng Jianyu.

Feng Jianyu hanged up the phone, but his jealousy and anger bubbled up again. He felt as if he had drunk a barrel of vinegar.

His forehead was covered with dark lines as he narrowed his eyes sharply at Xiu Mei, 'Who told you to go to that X? Just say it once and I'll free you from his trap. If you want to work than work with me, the entire Feng Corporation is yours… I'm yours…'

”Mei, who is Mr. X?” Feng Jianyu asked coldly. ”My boss” she replied casually without paying much attention.

”Fine! I think I've to ask you directly…” he huffed, ”Do you have a man in your life?”
