While heading towards the kitchen Feng Jianyu crossed outside Ghost's room and heard low grunting sound. His curiosity got the best of him and he knocked on the door before entering inside.
There he saw Ghost struggling on the bed to get up. He was lying on his front, his back was severely injured because of the explosion. Probably the anesthetic has worn off and his wounds have started to hurt.
”Don't move. Your wounds will reopen Mr. Ghost” Feng Jianyu quickly held him down. ”If you need anything I'll get it for you. Do you need water?”
”That g-girl!? H-How is she?”
Jianyu was surprised that the first thing this man asked after waking up was to know about Xiu Mei's condition. Why?
Although Xiu Mei has not told him anything about those four days, the way she reacted for this man yesterday proves his value for her. Knowing her nature he must have done something special to gain her attention.
”She's absolutely fine and currently resting in her room” He answered sincerely, ”And before you ask, those two dogs are also safe”
Ghost sighed in relief. He wanted to see Xiu Mei once, but what right does he have to demand such a thing. ”I'm happy she's fine. A-Are you the man she was searching?”
”I am!” Feng Jianyu grabbed the glass of water and kneeled down to help him drink it by straw, ”I'm placing your PCA[1] pump right by your side. If you feel any pain just press this red button for the automatic….”
”I-I know what PCA pump is. Thank you” He said roughly but Feng Jianyu doesn't mind his behavior and instead drew the blanket above him gently. ”Mr. Ghost, I don't have correct words to say thank you to you. But if you have any requests in the future please feel free to ask. I'll try to fulfill them at my best”
Feng Jianyu was about to leave the room when Ghost interrupted. ”A-Actually I do have a request”
”Please tell me!”
”C-Can I see her once before leaving?” He blurted out his thoughts but later regretted it, ”Actually leave it! It's not a compulsion… I-I just asked it. Don't mind me”
”Of course you can meet her” Jianyu didn't object but later added a sentence in a firm tone, ”But you are not allowed to leave. At least not until your second surgery is done and doctors declare you fit. Before that, don't even think of leaving”
Feng Jianyu didn't give him an option to speak or retort and walked out of there. He is aware Xiu Mei will feel bad if she comes to know how badly Ghost got injured while saving her life. And she will feel worse if anything wrong happened to him. How can he let her feel bad? Thus Feng Jianyu won't allow Ghost to leave until he is perfectly fit.

Holding the tray of food Feng Jianyu enters inside the room and not so surprisingly she vanished….
