”Mr. Qingzhou, I need one thing” Without any reservations, Xiu Mei demanded what she wants, ”Please don't disclose about this mission to anyone. I have some personal grudge against Kong's and whatever happened in North City would only startle them. Please keep this information within this city and don't let it spread out to South City or Kong's. I know I'm asking too much from you as in order to fight against Kong Wei in the upcoming election, this information is your ultimate weapon. But I promise to finish my work by the end of Business Summit and then you are free to reveal it”
Qingzhou smiled, understanding her problem and nodded her head, ”Miss Xiu Mei, you are embarrassing me by making a request. I know you have something against Kong's and I, Qingzhou Pang, will support you in this fight against Kong's. Rest assured I'll talk to the people staying in camp to refrain themselves from spreading the news. At least they can do this much for their ANGEL”
”Angel?” Xiu Mei was curious.
Qingzhou rubbed the back of his head and answered, ”Er… yes! When I told them that someone is helping me in rescuing their family members and 'she' is also the one who informed me about North City's condition, they unitedly named you Angel”
Xiu Mei shook her head.
”Mr. Pang this is teamwork. And the biggest contributor is the person standing beside me” She turned to face Feng Jianyu and clasped her small hands within his large ones. Wearing camouflaged military outfit, he was looking so dashing that Xiu Mei gulped a mouthful of saliva as perverted thoughts started clouding her brain.
She gave herself a mental smack for behaving out of line and shook her head. 'Damn Xiu Mei! Control yourself. What's wrong with you? This is not your usual self! Yes he is your husband but stops undressing him with your eyes'
Ignoring the lust in Xiu Mei's eyes he ruffled her hair lightly, ”Mr. Pang as she said. This is teamwork. Everybody contributed equally to the success of this mission”
Feng Jianyu didn't want Xiu Mei to attract too much attention in this country especially when both their enemies are still at large.
”Indeed!” Qingzhou said ”Temporarily I have taken over the military control of Country B. My trusted soldiers are still guarding the destroyed base to make sure no one escapes”
Xiu Mei raised her brows, ”Dead men don't escape. Moreover, I personally witnessed that four floors were completely destroyed due to the intense impact of explosives. There are no chances of survival. However, bombs didn't reach on the fifth floor but it caught fire due to heavy damage in subsequent floors. I saw everyone burning in that fire before video surveillance stopped displaying anything”
”What about the sixth floor?” Qingzhou asked.
”Sealed! Sixth floor was so high-tech in its design that now it's impossible for anyone to come out of there” Xiu Mei assured Qingzhou before she felt Feng Jianyu's hand massaging her back as if it's natural for him to do.
He saw her folding her knees backward to ease out the stress muscles and understood Xiu Mei needs a break, ”Let's rest for some time first. These things can be discussed later”
Without waiting for anyone Feng Jianyu picked her up in his arms. He raised his brows when Xiu Mei let out a small yelp and looked at him shocked. She tried to warn him with her eyes that everyone was watching them but he ignored them and carried her to room.
For some reason, Xiu Mei could not bring herself to protest and hugged his neck, snuggling closer to his chest. ”Jianyu I want to meet Uncle Ghost, Roxie and Gemie before leaving this city”
He heard her whisper and replied, ”Sure! But first, take some rest. Okay?”
