Chapter 295 - On computer (1/2)

Feng Junjie's eyes were filled with worry for her.

”Sister Mei Mei? Are you fine?!”

Xiu Mei ignored Feng Junjie's panic-stricken voice but continued detaching every wire from the computer.

Feng Junjie moved up a little and touched her arm, making her jolt up. ”Sister Mei Mei?!” Just a little touch of Feng Junjie and she pushed him hard in her self defense. ”No! No! Please don't. Go away”

Feng Junjie was unprepared for this and staggered few steps back, bumping into the table. His action caused a few of the equipment to fall down. ”Sister Mei Mei…. It's me JUNJIE” He emphasized on his name and was able to grab her attention.

She looked up feeling apologetic. ”I-I'm sorry. I'm very sorry”

”A-Are you alright Sister?”

”Yes, I'm f-fine”

By this time Feng Jin also came there to check what's with the loud noise. He saw cold sweat on Junjie's forehead as he was talking to the poor woman, who was visibly disturbed. He noticed Xiu Mei was breathing heavily and standing a little away as if maintaining a distance.

They looked at her, suffused with uneasiness. A few hours ago she was fine, then what happened behind these four walls that she is disturbed to this extent. Feng Jin was the most shocked, he has seen her confident and ruthless just like his brother, but never in this state. Being in military he can clearly see she is trying to hide her true emotions.

She rubbed the back of her neck, ”I-I saw a spider crawling over my system so while trying to get rid of it I made a mess by mistake. I'm sorry”

Her strange answer compelled Junjie and Jin to share a glance with each other and nod head in understanding. ”It's okay Sister. I'll send a servant to clean up the mess” Feng Junjie said and saw her walking out of the room with words, ”Please don't tell anything about this to Jianyu”

”Call brother. I'm guarding her” Feng Jin said but was instantly stopped by Feng Junjie. ”No need. Let Sister Mei Mei calm down first. If we give respect to big bro's wishes then our future sister in law deserves the same respect too. Until brother comes we will take care of her” He instantly took over the charge of being the elder brother.

Xiu Mei stayed in her room and didn't come out while Junjie made sure to send food for her on time. When Feng Jianyu came he enters inside the computer room, being sure that she must be working there only. But the condition of computer room depicted another story as he turned around and gave a questionable gaze to his brothers.

”You are drinking?” Feng Jianyu's gruff voice startled Xiu Mei and the wine glass slipped from her fingers.

'CRASH!'

The sound of glass shattering into pieces rang throughout the balcony.

She didn't dare to look at him afraid he would see her swollen eyes and retorted in a weak voice. ”It was only a quarter glass”

”Then why the bottle is almost empty?”
