Holding Xiu Mei in arms Feng Jianyu stroked her back in an upward and downward motion. Don't know by doing so he was coaxing the woman in his arms or his own heart. But holding her protectively, feeling skin to skin touch, he was feeling relaxed.

He lowered his head to check if she has fallen asleep, but surprisingly even after drinking the whole bottle of wine she was very much wide awake and hearing his strong heartbeat.

”Mei!?” He called and Xiu Mei hummed in reply. She laid on his chest in peaceful silence and waited for him to ask whatever he wants to know. But when he didn't say anything for five minutes she looked up from his chest to face him.

As their gaze collided she noticed he was looking at her intensely. ”What happen? What do you want to know?”

”You said you saw me and heard my voice too” His voice was meek and full of nervousness. ”Trust me! It was not me that night. Maybe someone….”

”Shh!” She shushed him earnestly by placing her finger against his lips. She has done this mistake once and won't repeat it one more time. Even if God comes down to earth to tell her that it was Feng Jianyu that night, she won't believe him. ”I said I saw a silhouette similar to yours and heard the voice that matches with you. Did I ever mention that I saw your face? No. So stop thinking about it. With advanced technology, it's a no big deal to copy someone's voice. They must have done it to get the password from me. Please don't blame yourself for all that”

Xiu Mei instantly cupped his face so that he could look into her eyes and know that all this came from the bottom of her heart.

Mesmerized by her pure eyes and the genuineness of her words, he nudged his nose with hers and touched their foreheads. ”Thank you, love! Thank you so much” He murmured every time before pecking her lips.

Not satisfied with small kisses he captured her lips for a slow sensual one. It's been a while he has kissed her properly, more than thirty hours. They both were in their lower undergarments, yet nobody feels any physical desire for one another. All they wanted right now was each other's company, feel their beating hearts, and let their frantic emotions calm down.

Feng Jianyu poured his entire love in that kiss, he was cherishing the woman to whom he almost lost seven years back. ”Mei, please please please answer me one thing. I know this is difficult for you but for our future answer me once. Just once”

”Jianyu….” She tried to say something but the man didn't allowed her.

”I know you found something from the night seven years back. Please tell me what it is and where is it? As you didn't saw any of our enemies that night, maybe this thing can help us. I promise I won't discuss it with you, I won't mention anything about that night, but please listen to me once. Tell me once. Baby, please. I can't see you like this” He hugged her tightly, refused to let go out of his arms.

Xiu Mei sensed something was off about his behavior since she told him what happened after he left her at the resort. He loved her always but all of a sudden his love increased thousand-fold, he is unwilling to let go off her. It was as if he wanted to cage her until all their enemies are settled.
