The same person hired the four gangsters on the orders of Yang Mi to violate Alice, torture her, make a video and do everything to curb down the boiling hatred they had for Zeng Ruo before dumping Alice's dead body.
After all, who cares whether an orphan girl was missing or not.
If an investigation was carried by any chance it will be shown as that the girl ran away after stealing the diamond.
However, things turned wrong, when Feng Dingxiong came out of nowhere to save Alice at the nick of time. He not only saved her but got those men killed and had their bodies vanished as if they never existed.
Yang Mi was already informed by her men that Feng Dingxiong's car had turned to the direction of the resort instead of a police station or hospital. She changed her plan instantly, and for once allowed Kong Da to get the password of the laptop for which his men were banging their heads to unlock it.
Already they had wasted four attempts to unlock the laptop, with just one more wrong attempt; everything will be deleted forever with no chance of recovery. So, Kong Wei and Kong Da at first used the simplest method of disguising as Feng Jianyu and hitting her guilty conscience to get the password.
However, instead of giving the password she made a counteroffer by working free until three times the cost of diamond was earned. Out of option they instantly jumped to plan B and used the most brutal method to get the password by injecting her with drugs and forcing her to give the password.
Knowing her stubborn personality, if it was known to her that instead of Feng Jianyu it was Kong Wei, she wouldn't have given the password.
