Chapter 451 - Not XM (1/2)
The atmosphere in the Yang Sheng's island base was aggressive and murderous. The smell of rust and iron emanated in the air. Hu Chi looked at his master's silent figure seated on the tall throne-like chair with his legs crossed.
On the wall, a sharp dagger was stuck at its pointed end with blood dripping on the floor. Near his feet, six men were lying dead. All died by a single attack of none other Yang Sheng who slashed open their abdomen in a single attack before throwing the dagger at the wall.
He knew the things would be worse once Yang Sheng will know about Yang Zian and his family's disappearance. These dead men were to monitor Yang Zian but the news of the explosion in Yang Sheng's factories distracted them and by the time they realized Yang Zian vanished into thin air already.
Someone took advantage of this distraction and helped Yang Zian to get away from them. Otherwise, in his broken state, it's impossible for him to go on his own. Moreover, he wouldn't dare to leave Yang Sheng's side if his family was still under his grasp.
Wasn't this planned as well? First rescue Yang Zian's family and then him!
”Master, I think Zian had already allied with XM before coming here. He might have not returned if his family was not held captive with us. It was his plan to divert our attention and buy time for XM's men to rescue his family. I'm shocked he endured such brutal torture and stood rooted to his ground just to support that XM. How unfilial!” Hu Chi banged his fist with his other hand, if it was not for the President of the Country to keep him in control he would have killed Yang Zian.
He hated Yang Zian from the beginning. Don't know why but despite Yang Sheng's fair treatment he always wanted to leave his side and live peacefully. In order to tie him down by his side permanently and make sure he never dares to run away, Yang Sheng got him married to the President's daughter smartly killing two birds with a stone.
However, after getting married, his wish to live a peaceful life only increased. Silly fellow! Who wants to leave this world of immense power? In this world, everyone is afraid of him! He is the assistant of the powerful Yang Sheng…. An equally powerful man!

Hu Chi owned his life to Yang family. His father was a gambler and alcohol addict while his mother was a bar dancer. He and his mother had been subject to domestic violence by his father when the latter would demand money to satisfy his alcohol and gambling urges.
When he was thirteen, one day he saw his father strangle his mother to death when the latter refused to give him the money. Out of rage he picked the screwdriver and stabbed his father in the throat and continued till the head was separated from its body.
The police arrested him when someone reported him when they saw him playing football in the field with a severed head. They sent him to a juvenile home for rehabilitation but the frequent violence by the warden made him realize that only the powerful survive in this world.
