Meanwhile, back in the smoke Island Mo Zhichan was not completely awake. When he came to know his daughter is sending him off in the helicopter while she is staying behind, he instantly refused and hugged her tightly to never let go of her. ”I'm not leaving you here. How can you even think of saving your father at the cost of your life? You've no idea how brutal and obnoxious Yang Sheng is. If someone has to stay here, then it will be me.” Mo Zhichan cupped her face in between his calloused cold hands. ”Child…. Now that I've seen you this old man has no other wish remaining. I'll happily spend the rest of my life here.”
”And what about me? Will I ever be able to live my life happily? Knowing my father is suffering somewhere in the world, will I ever be at peace?” Xiu Mei looked straight into Mo Zhichan's eyes. The pain of a daughter yearning for her father's love was inevitable.
Mo Zhichan shook his head adamantly, once more pulling her into a bone-crushing hug. Instead of leaving her here alone, he would rather prefer to die. ”I'm not listening to anything…. Nope…. Never….”
Standing beside Mo Zhichan, Kong Zhi saw her clear eyes, he realized where he failed. He adopted her, loved her and gave her his property, but he failed to become her father….
It's an impossible task for fathers to separate from their daughters; the bond is something mysteriously awesome, created by God himself, acknowledged by heavens…. Yet how easily he separated himself from her. Had he done the same if she was his real daughter?
Xiu Mei hugged Mo Zhichan tightly. ”Please forgive me, dad….” She brought her hand at the side of Mo Zhichan's neck, strikes at carotid sinus which triggered fainting for a short duration.
Kong Zhi and Daiyu instantly moved to hold Mo Zhichan's falling body as Xiu Mei was unable to handle his weight.
”Leave right now.... All this will be a complete waste if we get stuck here.” saying she turned to Yang Sheng ignoring Daiyu and Kong Zhi's misty eyes. ”Helicopter?”
They were already standing near the helipad.
”There it is.” gritting his teeth Yang Sheng pointed at the sky. He pulled Xiu Mei with her elbow away from everyone. ”Now that they are already safe, you better come with me.”
”Let them leave first.” Xiu Mei yanked her arm; she shifted her gaze back to Kong Zhi. ”GO….. IT'S MY ORDER.”
Daiyu and Kong Zhi placed Mo Zhichan in the helicopter, securing him with a seat belt. Gemie and Roxie tried to run towards Xiu Mei but Kong Zhi pulled their leash, forcing them inside.
Kong Zhi does not want to leave her alone, but he saw a glint of determination and hope in her eyes. If she can be brave enough to plan all this, his heart shouted this could not be the separation. Who can forget her man, Feng Jianyu… There is no way Feng Jianyu would let her suffer at the hands of Yang Sheng.

”They are gone now. Destroy the thing in your hand.” Xiu Mei saw Yang Sheng pointing at the Big spidy in her hand. Until he left the island with her, death hovers over his head.
”Once they land safely…” She pointed at the spider. ”….it will inform me. Only then I'll destroy it.”
He started pulling her towards the secret exit. ”I don't trust you. We are leaving this place now.” Xiu Mei tried to break-free her hand, but he gripped her firmly.
