There visit to the hospital was supposed to be of one hour but much to Xiu Mei's annoyance it took them the entire day. Credit goes to the frantic man named Feng Jianyu who insisted on full body checkup on Xiu Mei to ensure everything is fine.

With puffed up cheeks and exhausted body, Xiu Mei sat down in the car. Sometimes, her husband is too much! What was the need for all those unnecessary check-ups? Thankfully, he didn't insist on throwing her in a CT scan or MRI machine.

”Drive slower.” Feng Jianyu instructed the driver sternly.

In the ride back home, he was holding her close in his arms; his movements were careful as if he might hurt her with a little pressure. He placed a kiss on her puffed red cheek. ”Don't be angry, I insisted on those tests because you're six weeks pregnant and all this while we never stopped our bed activities. What if….”

”Shh… quiet! Don't mention it! Shameless monster!” Her cheeks turned red. And she received another wet kiss on her cheek.

”Dady Jianyu and Momma Xiu Mei…. It sounds like music.” He can't control his excitement. He can't wait to hold the tiny version of Xiu Mei in his arms. He can't wait to announce the entire world he is going to be a father.

”Yes, yes,… I know you're excited…. So am I.”

”From now on you're not allowed to go to R-Tech or work on any inventions. You need complete rest. Do you understand? Otherwise, I'll tie you with the bed.” Before she could say something he squeezed her cheeks to stop her from arguing. ”No ifs, no buts… You're only going to listen to me. She pulled his hands down from her mouth. ”Rest assured, I'll be careful all the time and won't strain my body. You know I can't sit ideal at home and do nothing.”

”Fine! But only until you are six months into the pregnancy, the last three months are difficult for a pregnant woman and at that time you'll take rest. I can only be this much lenient.” His tone came firm, without a space for negotiation.

”Hm…. I promise. You are my official boss from now onwards. Is that okay boss? Now may I lean my head on your chest and hug you tightly? I like to snuggle on your chest.” She pointed her finger at his heart, acting cute and innocent.

Xiu Mei was excited to see the family's reaction when they will know about the news. She just wanted to fly and reach Mo mansion ASAP and announce it at the top of her voice.

However least she was aware that the two doctors of their house could not control themselves and leaked the news to their respective families...how can such big news be kept away?

As soon as the couple left, Wang Shi took out his phone and dialed Feng Junjie's number. ”Little brother….. Mei is pregnant! We are going to become UNCLE! We are having a baby in the house!”
