113 The Zoo (1/2)
After going through security Theo learnt what V.I.P entailed. All V.I.P holders will get a personal guide, allowed into private areas to feed the animals, escorted by professionals into the habitats, 50% off all the shops.
Four figures walked out from a room that had a sign above the door that said V.I.P. Chloe and Emily were cheerfully holding Theo's hands. Joining them is their guide, Jessica a 17-year-old girl working part-time at the zoo. She is five foot four with black hair in a bun her outfit was made up of a grey jacket with shorts.
The moment Theo stepped out from the room he felt an immediate connection being made between him and the animals. He quickly turned off his ability and fell back into his not so normal self. Theo got down on one knee and presented the brochure that had a map to the girls with a pen.
”Okay girls go wild, where do you wanna go” Said Theo happily
”Let's go see the fishes,” Said the girls as they pointed at the aquarium
”Well then Jessica if you wouldn't mind guiding us there while teaching us about the animals we pass by” Said Theo
”I would love to if you'd like I can give you some history of the zoo too,” Said Jessica while blushing.
Jessica wasn't sure who her client was as the sunglasses, cap covered most of his face but from his sharp cheekbone, perfectly angled jawline and the exposed biceps, she could tell that he was handsome. She has never been more eager to do her job in her life.
The kids pulled Theo around as Jessica patiently informed them on what the animal is, thier habits and the names given to the animals. Walking through the aquarium the girls jumped around pointing at the big sharks roaring at it like small beasts.
While going through the Zoo Theo would ask Jessica to take pictures of them. At 12:00 pm Jessica joined Theo for lunch on a picnic table. Emily and Chloe sat on either side of Theo while Jessica sat across them with her own lunch from home.
The moment Theo opened the kid's lunch boxes which led intoxicating fragrance exploded from it and spread into the surrounding. Jessica being the closest was able to see the origin of the fragrance.
In the two identical see-through lunch boxes was a small cheese Burger, a small box filled with Apple slices, strawberry tarts and yoghurt. Everything appeared fresh apart from the store-bought yoghurt.
Just a whiff of the food sent everyone's sense into a crazy frenzy. One by one the people in the area could be seen raising thier nose into the air while attempting to trace the smell to its origin. Jessica was struggling the most as she was forced to watch the origin of the smell be consumed.
Theodore pulled out a foot-long steak sandwich. As he was about to bite down he saw the grieving Jessica sadly chewing on a simple cheese and ham sandwich.
Theodore being the nice guy pulled out another steak sandwich and said ”Here take it”
”Oh, no I couldn't. It's fine, thank you” Said, Jessica embarrassingly
”Take it, we don't want our tour guide getting all tired,” Said Theodore
”Umm, Thank you,” Said, Jessica while slowly taking the sandwich into her hand
Jessica dropped her sandwich back into her lunch box as brought the steak sandwich closer to her face. Just an inch away from her mouth, she took a moment to inhale breath the smell that oozed from the sandwich.
Staring down at the sandwich she viciously bites into it and experienced what could only be described as heavenly. With her eyes closed, she slowly consumed the sandwich as if it were fine wine.
”Jessica, Okay?” Asked Chloe nervously
Jessica came out of her fantasy and saw the concern on the kid's face and said ”It's great, one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, ”
The girls show a happy smile knowing that thier big brothers cooking is the best. After having lunch they made their way to the lion's habitats. Around the lion's den was a large crowd.
The lion's den was a pit with a large rock in the centre with tall trees, lush green grass and a pool of water that went around the edge. Around the top of the den was a 6ft reinforced glass fence that stopped others from falling in.
”Rana and Khana are relatively new to the zoo and we have hopes for breeding in the future. They look innocent enough, lying out in the sun on warm days but don't be deceived by their laid back appearance: these are dangerous wild animals and the Keepers treat them with great respect” Said Jessica
”Can we feed them” Said Emily excitedly
”Not this time because they are new we have strict feeding time for them. It's also to allow them to get used to this new lifestyle.” Said, Jessica
”Oh,” Said The kids dejectedly
”It's cool though, look it gonna roar,” Said, Theo as he sends a message to the lion using his skill
”They don't really raw as they still quite scared of thier new surrounding,” Said Jessica sadly

The kids calmed down and said ” Super Cool”
Chloe looked up at Theo with her arms and said ”Up please”
”Me too big brother,” Said Emily with her hands up
Theodore picked them up and had them in his arms when he heard Emily say ”On the shoulder big brother”
After a few seconds of the kids balancing they finally sat firmly on a shoulder each. They were now above the 6ft glass fence with a clearer image of the lions.
”Ask it to Roar,” Said Theo as he sends a mental message to the lions to look towards them
”Okay, Mr Rana can you please roar, Like really loud, please” Said Emily while throwing her hands in the air
The lions comically nodded and opened thier mouths as a loud and earth-shattering roar sounded ”ROAR!!”
”WOW,” Said The kids while clapping
