Chapter 510 - The Flowery Corpse God Chrysalises (1/2)

Dozens of days passed as they travelled. Zhong Yue and company were nearing to the other side of the insect planet. The planet rotate on its axis, and so one side of the insect planet was always dark and cold. Thus, few insects were willing to stay there, and only those that were partial to such environments elected to live there.

Zhong Yue and the others moved out from underground and glanced around. They saw mountains of ice filling across the land to the end of the horizon.

Abruptly, the earth began to quake, and a deafening noise rumbled across the sky. Zhong Yue looked over from the ground and was stunned.

In front of them was a huge creature with a giant stomach, residing within the ice mountains. It was undoubtedly an insect, but its head was nowhere to be seen and the lower part of its body was connected with a huge eight-petal flower.

The flower was closed and bloomed continuously while the insect's stomach slowly turned on its own. When the flower petals closed together, the stomach would move in another direction, and the petals abruptly bloomed while blasting out rays of lights into the darkness!

The insect along with the flower was 10,000 feet tall but the light rays that burst out from the flower were millions of miles long. The reaction force was so strong that the earth would quake every time the flower bloomed and the insect planet would be pushed a slight distance away from where it was before.

Even large chunks of ice were shaken from the ice mountains and sent crashing into the ground.

Zhong Yue and the crowd were totally stunned.

An insect with a flower-like lower body and was blasting rays of lights up in the sky and into the dark space.

Further away from there were also similar light rays like this piercing through the firmament. There were more than hundreds of the light rays in their vision!

The reaction force that came from the light rays was exactly what allowed the insect planet to move around in the endless universe!

These huge insects that were blasting out the light rays were, in fact, what propelled insect planet from one star to the other!

These insects were hybrids of insects and plants. Their heads were buried in the ground, devouring the energies of the earth while their bodies processed the pure energies and blast it out through the blooming of their flower lower bodies.

Just a few hundred of these insects were able to move a planet around in the universe, just how strong were the light rays!?

"Tian Mo Concubine, what are they?" Zhong Yue mumbled in question.

Tian Mo Concubine was also puzzled, she shook her head and replied, "I've never heard of them before…"

Zhong Yue turned to the insect magnate and asked, "What are these insects?"

The Horn Toad insect magnate who Zhong Yue refined lowered his head and said, "They are the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis, also a Golden King Race. They are low in number and can't move around, just like the plants. Only the mother queen can give birth to these insects, but even when they were produced, it was incredibly hard to nurture them. They need to implant themselves into god corpses, and they need to be irrigated with jade liquid and divine blood to fully mature."

"Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis?"

Gu Hongzi mumbled, "How creative of the demon race to create such a race of insect."

Yet, with all of his strength in the strike, a few totem patterns that emerged from the surface of the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis were able to fend it off completely.

Fang Jiange recalled his sword and furrowed his brows.

Gu Hongzi cast out his Yuan Shen as well and clawed over at the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis. Once again, the totem patterns on the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis's surface endured the strike wholly, leaving it completely unharmed.

Qiu Jin'er and the others all gave their best shot, but none of them was able to leave even a single impression on the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis.

"With me!" Zhong Yue said solemnly.
