Without hesitation, Zhong Yue walked right into the ruined divine temple and sat down under the menacing gaze of the many human gods who stood beside him. Consort Tian Si giggled and said upon seeing this, "Relax. Let us all have a seat. We have the upper hand now and if I say there is no escape, then there will be no escape for him."

With that said, this gorgeous human lady had a seat and the others sat down after a brief hesitation but they still had Zhong Yue surrounded.

Zhong Yue looked around and examined these gods, noticing that the majority of them were all Heavenly Deities followed by True Deities and a few Deity Overlords, to which he said, "Never thought that the Consort had built such a strong powerbase outside the Human Sovereign Palace. Without relying on the Human Sovereign Palace, you must have struggled through a lot in order to achieve this."

Consort Tian Si, however, did not address Zhong Yue's comments and she said with a sweet smile, "Anymore useless words coming from your mouth, I will kill you, Mister Yi."

Zhong Yue answered her with a laugh and said, "May I ask which race the Consort came from in your previous life?"

"I have no previous life." shook Consort Tian Si after she was stunned for a second.

Zhong Yue smiled and said, "I have a way. Please look at this divine mirror of mine."

With his fingers reached out and with a simple wave, totem patterns flowed out from his fingers and formed a divine mirror where there were six light wheels that contained the Reincarnation power in it.

The expressions of others changed right away and just as they were about to act, Consort Tian Si faced towards the mirror and said, "What did you see, Mister Yi?"

This divine mirror of Zhong Yue's was actually a technique he developed based on the Heaven Origin Reincarnation Mirror and this was a technique capable of revealing everything about one in their past life, but Zhong Yue saw nothing in the mirror.

He then faced his mirror towards the other gods and to his surprise and confusion, none of these human gods had gone through reincarnation.

"Rest assured, Mister Yi, if there are one of them that reborn, he will not be able to hide from my art of Karma."

Consort Tian Si's beautiful eyes blinked and asked, "What are you trying to do, Mister Yi? Is there a need to be that careful?"

Zhong Yue dispersed the divine mirror right away and asked again, "Under whom are you serving right now, Consort Tian Si?"

Consort Tian Si burst out laughing right away and she left Zhong Yue's question unanswered, "If you ask any more questions, I will be left with no choice but to kill you!"

Zhong Yue laughed right away and said, "Do you think I will come here alone if I had no backup plans or any way to protect myself?"

Consort Tian Si's expression stiffened up and she smirked, "You brought Zi Guang with you?"

"Of course not. He is eager to kill me and you think I will be friends with him? I am here to see you in order to team up with you against him. Consort Tian Si, I wish to learn and exchange knowledge from you about the art of Karma so that I can overwhelm him in intelligence."

Consort Tian Si frowned and after looking at Zhong Yue from head to toes, she suddenly sneered, "You are trying to triumph against him and replace him?"

Zhong Yue kept quiet and Consort Tian Si shook her head after some consideration, "I will only be strengthening Imperial Emperor Xian Tian's power if I exchange ideas and discuss the art of Karma with you. Why would I do that?"

Zhong Yue answered, "Do you think you can win against Zi Guang?"

Consort Tian Si mocked right away, "One Zi Guang is already more than enough. With your addition, things would be even harder for me. You wish to obtain my art of Karma in order to know my roots and if you team up with Zi Guang after that, I will die in no time. Mister Yi, I fear that you have wasted your time in coming here, I will never tell you my art of Karma."

Zhong Yue sighed at Consort Tian Si's rejection; though she was talented, she had no trust in him. But if Zhong Yue were in her shoes, he wouldn't trust her either; after all, she was serving an unknown power and if he revealed his secrets to her, he would be dead meat if she sold him out.

"I am intrigued. How many brilliant humans like the Consort are out there?"

Zhong Yue lowered down his conditions and asked, "Who is your husband?"

Consort Tian Si smiled and replied, "We humans produced abundant talents each year but none from the Human Sovereign Palace. Thank you for your concern, Mister Yi. Whereas my husband, he is also a talented human who knows a lot, if you survive, I suppose you will get to know him one day."

From her tone, Zhong Yue noticed her dissatisfaction towards the Human Sovereign and she did not even reveal anything to Zhong Yue.

"Then I suppose the feeling is not mutual between us."

Zhong Yue stood up and said, "I thought I ran into someone I could share my knowledge with but I never thought that you'd be so wary towards me. If that's the way it is, then all I can do is excuse myself."

Under the fierce gaze of the human gods, Zhong Yue walked towards the exit. The human gods immediately sought further instructions from Consort Tian Si, who was also hesitating. Previously, she knew nothing about King Zi Guang's intelligence, thus, she was happy when she ran into Zhong Yue who was also an expert in the art of Karma. But now, after knowing how powerful King Zi Guang was, she feared that she would place herself in danger by keeping Zhong Yue alive.

"Consort, if I tell you that I am not a reincarnated innate god but a human, will you believe me?" asked Zhong Yue as he suddenly stopped and turned around at the exit.

Consort Tian Si was shocked for a second and she mocked, "I will not! No human can be that strong like you! If you're not a reincarnated innate god, who is?"

With a nod, Zhong Yue turned around and flew away like a meteor.

"Consort, should we catch up with him and…." said a human god fiercely as he did a cutting throat gesture.

This man is fooling with my mind so that he can escape alive!
