When someone gets mature and rethinks about their life, they will have regret about things that they had done in the past.
Every time she thinks about that moment when Jing Bo Yuan was eight years old, she feels heartbroken. She regrets that moment.
She also regrets what she did fifteen years ago. She stabbed him. It makes her regretful.
“I’m sorry.” He Shu E speaks. “I’m really sorry.”
That is the first time, she apologizes toward him.
Jing Bo Yuan just stands there with one of his hand on the pocket, and his other hand holds a car key.
He seems to be unaffected by her words. The time the elevator door is opened, he just walks out.
He Shu E looks at his figure and follows him.
After thirty minutes.
The white land rover stops in front of He family mansion.
He Shu unbuckles her seatbelt and says to Jing Bo Yuan. “It’s hot, let’s go inside and drink a tea and you can go back.”
Jing Bo Yuan just looks at her and says calmly: “Help me to greet Wai Po and Wai Gong.”
He doesn’t have intention to enter He house.
He Shu E smiles. “Drive safely.”
She stands in front of the main door and watches the white car leaves. She is slightly absent-minded.
Today that great successful business man cannot see her again with those pure innocent eyes like a boy.
He wouldn’t try to get her affection again.
He Shu E just realizes that for memorizing that English textbook, Jing Bo Yuan only slept four hours for half a year. That is hard for eight years old. She cannot imagine how can he endure it.

“Gu Gu, why are you standing here?” A blue Lamborghini car stops in front of He Shu E. He Ji Fan lowers the car window.
“I saw Bo Yuan’s car, he sent you back home?”
He Shu E smiles toward He Ji Fan and just asks back: “Why are you home at this time?”
“I forgot something home, I come here to take it.” He Ji Fan says.
Both of them get inside the mansion.
In the living room, there’s a seven-month baby playing on the baby bed.
“Stop smoking. Don’t smoke in front of the kid.” Old Madame He stops He Ji Fan to smoke.
He Ji Fan throws his cigarette away, he bends down and takes the baby. He plays with the baby for a while and then leaves to go upstair.
“You have met A Yuan’s kids?” Old Madame He asks He Shu E.
He Shu E puts her handbag down. She is tired. “Em, the three babies are cute.”
“Xiao E ah….” Old Madame He suddenly says, He Shu E frowns. She already can guess what Old Madame He wants to say.

He Shu E’s mood is changing.
“Just because of that, your Pa throughly dismissed his thought to let you guys be together. For him, marriage is to bring happiness and joy and not bring one to the hell. You were treated by your father as a princess, you have a great life, how can for what so-called “love”, you fall to a muddy life?”
“He loves you? If he really loves you, then he should cherish you. He will try to establish a life that suitable for you and not asking you to just follow him blindly to his world. He should love his life more than you. He should just feel afraid that everyone will laugh at him to be dependent to the woman’s family. It’s only about pride.”
If He Su E is still young, she will definitely oppose her parents’ opinion. “I want to marry him, I’m not afraid to live a hard life. As long as I can be together with him. I’m not afraid of any hardships!”
But this moment He Shu E has passed that young age, she rethinks about it. Indeed there’re lots of problems between her and him. Those romantic gestures will not last long.
That year she couldn’t understand it, but now she can.

After Old Madame He is done, He Shu E puts down the baby back to the bed.

Old Madame He is furious. “You kid, I am just doing this for your own good. I also hope that you can have a complete happy family. Perhaps do you want to live alone till you are old?”
“I will remember what you said to me. I am a bit tired. I’ll go back to my room and rest.”
He Shu E closes the door as soon as she is inside her bedroom and throws down her body on the big bed.
She closes her eyes and imagines those darks and complicated eyes.
Jing Zong always looks at her with that gaze.
He Shu E opens her eyes. She recalls what happened between her and Jing Zong on the car. At first she remembers the pain but the pain turns into a wonderful feeling.
It’s so hard not to imagine. They are almost sixty years old, but they can still bring joy for each other.
