Lira took her nail file and instruct her, ”Log this reports and projects down. Create a calendar to when they are due.”

Angela took the files and went to a vacant table.

After an hour Angela presented a complete calendar with all the file's due dates and purposes. Lira was impressed to her outstanding summary file. ”Very good! Now, buy me a coffee. Also, treat yourself with the chance.” This is the first time Lira complemented her performance. Angela was very happy with the praise Lira gave and receive the money to buy her a coffee.

After Angela leave the room, Lira went inside Michael's office.

”Sir?” She knocked first the door and try to listen to his presence. It was a courtesy to ask permission before entering someone's office. She then heard a soft 'mmm' inside.

”Sir, I presented you a summary report of the files you've given me a while ago. In here, I segregate the reports and projects in a calendar form with its purpose and agenda. It will help you to schedule your stay in ASC.” Lira took Angela's report and claim it to be hers. She even claimed that she is the one who taught it that way to make his stay in ASC easier. Well in fact the only thing she asked Angela was to list down all the projects by its due date.

”Wow, Lira! You're a very efficient secretary ever. Thank you.” Michael took the file and place it inside his messenger bag. He even took a two thousand pesos to reward her idea.

”This is for your outstanding idea. Buy something and treat your co-workers inside.”

”Thank you sir!”

Lira's retreat to the secretary's office with boxes of pizza. ”Everyone come here and eat the pizzas I bought. My boss rewarded me for the summary report I prepared! You guys should excel well to be rewarded by your bosses just like me. Oh! let me ask? Are your boss as generous as mine? If not? I pity you then.”

Others went to get a piece of pizza and disregard Lira's boastful remarks. Let us say that they are already immune to her arrogant manner. But this is a free food so either she is insulting or boasting as long as she gives free food they will come.

Last November 30 was the happiest night of my life. All because of a very wonderful question.

My boyfriend, oh no scratch that part, my fiance, proposed to me.

Hehehehehe! Until now, I feel kilig as I remembered that night. With the help of my entire family and friends, that night became a very wonderful plot twist of my short PH vacation.

As I have said before, I need to go home to attend my friend's wedding. Unknowingly that soon I will also say I do to my love.
