The next morning, Xue Yi Ming took Yang Yun out and brought him to his office.

Yang Yun looked around with fascination. There were a lot of strange things in this world. Everything around him moved fast, and Yang Yun found that it was hard for him to catch up. Chief Ye had taught that once he was in a different world, he will have to learn and adapt as quick as he can. It was the only way he can survive.

It was usual for people to fear others who are different than them. It was normal for people to fear things they could not understand. However, this fear would cause harm. This fear could make others act violently against him. Although Yang Yun was proficient in the martial art and knew how to protect himself, it will be difficult if he alone has to face the others.

As Yang Yun began to think of this, he began to worry. Jiang Mingyue arrived in this strange world six years before him. How had she survived in this world?

”Well, let me take you around first,” Xue Yi Ming said once they stepped into the building.

The first time Yang Yun rode a lift in the hospital, he had gripped the railing tightly that his knuckles turned white. At that time, he thought that he was going to die.

Later on, he began to observe people coming in and out of the elevator. Because the elevator in the hospital made of glass, Yang Yun could slowly understand how it worked.

Xue Yi Ming took out a card, put it on the scanner and pressed a serial of number. There was a beeping sound, and the door was unlocked. ”Come in.”

Yang Yun trailed after Xue Yi Ming. Once they entered, a pretty lady dressed in black pants and jacket stood up. She bowed to Xue Yi Ming and greeted them both.

”Is Sister Mudan in?” Xue Yi Ming asked.

”Not yet. I have booked an appointment with her last night. She said she would come over after she settled with a few things,” the lady reported.

”Did she say what time she'll be here?”

”She should be here in half an hour.”

Xue Yi Ming glanced at his wristwatch and nodded. He took a step forward then, paused. ”Miss Yao, please get us a cup of coffee and some breakfast. Just get anything.” he glanced at Yang Yun and said, ”My friend here just got out of the hospital. You figure out what should be good for him to eat.”

Miss Yao nodded. Then, she watched as her boss and his guest walked in.

They soon arrived in a large room where a few workers were looking at their computer. Once Xue Yi Ming walked in, they looked at him and nodded to greet him.
