Back in Da Cheng,
Princess Lingchen received a surprise when she returned to her palace from her morning assemble with the Emperor. A maidservant announced that the Emperor of Qian Rong had come over to visit her. The Princess quickly went to the hall to greet her guest.
Her steps paused at the door when she saw her friend drinking tea leisurely in the hall. Princess Lingchen stepped forward and greeted him. He was definitely a surprise guest! ”Your Majesty, what brings you here?”
The Emperor of Qian Rong put down the tea on the side table. ”My grandmother sent me here. Didn't Yang Yun wrote a letter saying that his wife has lost her memories?”
The Crown Princess eased up when she heard his words.
”Come here and sit,” he pointed towards the empty chair beside him. ”You are my friend. Let's forgo formalities when there were no one around.”

Princess Lingchen signaled her maidservant to bring in a few more refreshments into the room before she took a seat.
”My grandmother could not be here as she had to deal with something in her tribe. A couple of tribe members is getting married. As the chief, my grandmother needs to stay and blessed the ceremony.” Lu Wei said. He took a package beside him and put it on the table. ”There are herbs in this packaging, with instructions on how to use them. Yang Yun should feed these to his wife every day, and she will slowly recover her memories.”
Princess Lingchen took the package and passed it to Ah Zhen, who stood next to her.
”Of course,” Lu Wei continued. ”There is a chance that these herbs might not work. According to my grandmother, what benefit to us in this world doesn't mean it would work the same in the other world.”
”I understand. Please thank your grandmother for me,” Princess Lingchen said.
At this time, a maidservant entered the room and served the Princess a cup of tea and refreshment. The maidservant retreat once her task finished.
”Speaking of a wedding,” Lu Wei paused and looked at the Princess. ”I heard that you are going to marry that Prince of Western Zhou. Didn't you rejected his proposal before the Eastern Zhou joined my brother to attack your Da Cheng?”
Her face turned red with embarrassment as the Emperor of Qian Rong asked her about her marriage. Princess Lingchen lowered her gaze and said, ”It was not my choice. My parents arranged these matters. The other suitable candidates would be General Zhuang, but that man was a strong supporter of Chancellor Chen. If Emperor Father chooses the General, then, the Chancellor will gain his power once again. We cannot allow him to have his power risen too high in Da Cheng's court.”
Lu Wei chuckled at her words. ”I thought that you had cultivated some feelings with the Prince in these past few months. I heard that Prince Huo Yuan is good with his sweet talk.”
”Prince Huo Yuan might be charismatic, but,” Princess Lingchen shivered as she recalled the way the Prince would flirt with her whenever they met. ”He is not my type.”
Lu Wei raised a brow. ”Then, what is your type?”
