200 Was That Only a Dream? (1/2)
In her dream, Lin Mingyue saw the silhouette of an older man. His white hair tied up into a knot. His face full of wrinkles, especially around his eyes. He had a white mustache and beard that reached to his chest. He had a fit and healthy body despite his old age.
The old man stood beside the rack, arranging some dried herbs when a young girl walked to him. The little girl's long hair was tied and adorned with beautiful, colorful hairpins. When the girl walked in, the older man's expression lightened up, and his lips curved into a smile.

The two were talking about something, but Mingyue could not hear anything.
After a while, the old man grabbed an old book. Inside, there were drawings and notes on various herbs.
The old man flipped through the book and stopped when he reached a page. On the paper was a drawing of a type of grass with a red flower and yellow rim.
Lin Mingyue peek to see what was written on that page. She could not read much, except for the name of the herbs, 'Shadow Grass.'
…
Lin Mingyue blinked as she woke up. She stared at the ceiling and recalled that she was hospitalized after an accident in the woods.
Swiftly, Mingyue tried to sit up.
”Slowly! You're still injured,” her mother smiled, but the smile quickly disappeared and was replaced with panic. ”Mingyue, why are you crying?”
”What?” Mingyue touched her cheek and was surprised to see her tears. It was then that she recalled her dreams. When she remembered that old man, her heart started to ache. The dream seemed so real...
”Don't cry, you're safe now,” her mother coaxed. She pulled Mingyue into her embrace and patted her on her back. ”Your sister woke up a few hours ago. Later, I'll bring you to see her, alright?”
Mingyue nodded. Her thought was still on that dream she had earlier. She tried to recall every single detail from the dream and stiffened when she remember the drawing on that book. The herb! She had seen it before! It was the herb Yang Yun had dug out back in the small village.
Was that only a dream? But everything felt so real. Like it was part of her memories.
Impossible!
The way the old man and the little girl dressed up, it did not look like it was part of this world.
Was she affected by Yang Yun's questions the other day?
”You must be hungry,” her mother said as she pulled away to look at her daughter's face. ”Do you want anything to eat?”
