Yang Yun looked up at the dark sky.

Just half an hour ago, the sun was shining too bright, and now, the rain poured heavily. The lightning flashed, and thunder roared. On the street, the people scattered around to get to a safer place and take cover from the rain.

In the past few days, the news has reported that nature has become strange. Some areas had experienced heavy rain and flash flood, while some regions experienced drought. According to the report, the situation would continue for two months.

Yang Yun opened up the umbrella when he sensed that Xue Yi Ming was behind him. The two crossed the road and entered Xue Yi Ming's Cayenne. Then, Xue Yi Ming put the keys into the ignition and started driving towards the city area.

”It doesn't look like the rain will be stopping soon,” Yang Yun commented. ”It will be hard to climb up the hill in this weather.”

Xue Yi Ming leaned forward to look at the sky. He quickly retracted his gaze to concentrate on the road. It was raining heavily, and the traffic was slowly building up.

”If the weather didn't get better, then we don't have to visit the portal,” Yang Yun said.

”Are you sure?” Xiao Yi Ming asked. ”It has been a while since you haven't sent back news to the other side. Won't your family members get worried?”

”It's alright. They knew that I could not always send back news,” Yang Yun said.

Xue Yi Ming nodded. He drove in silence before he glanced at Yang Yun. ”Have you thought over Li Ran's suggestion to bring Lin Mingyue over the site and let her see the portal? I think Li Ran's idea made was logical. What if Mingyue saw the portal, and that shock will stimulate her to remember stuff from her past?”

”It's possible,” Yang Yun said. ”But I am worried that Mingyue will find it freaky and scary. What if she did not get her memories back and instead, think that I am a freak? I don't think I can bear to be separated from her once again. Although she did not remember us, I think our current situation is not that bad.”

”Yes. But what about your family on the other side? Will it be alright for you to leave them?” Xue Yi Ming asked.

He knew that Yang Yun had no plan to bring Mingyue back to the other world before she started to remember her past. Yang Yun did not want to scare Mingyue as right now; the girl was only familiar with this world.

As Yang Yun heard Xue Yi Ming's question, he felt guilt tugging on his heart. He knew that it would be selfish if he decided to stay in this world as long as he can be with Mingyue.

Yang Yun loved his wife, but she had her family and friends who missed and loved her as much as he does. It would not be fair to everyone if he wanted to stay in this world for his selfish reason. Moreover, Yang Yun had to return to his family, as well. He had his family too. His mother and sister had only him to rely on.
