226 Why are You Here? (1/2)

Xue Yi Ming entered his car and drove into the city. Because this client was one of the VVIP, Xue Yi Ming had no other choice but to make a trip personally to see what had gone wrong. While he was driving, Xue Yi Ming gave a call to two of his technicians to meet him on site.

Because the traffic was pretty good, Xue Yi Ming arrived at his Scarlet, in twenty minutes.

Scarlet was a high-end club where most affluent and influential people hang out. Therefore it was vital for him to come over and make sure that everything went back as usual before trouble brew.

When he arrived, Shang Xin, the owner of the establishment, greeted him at the entrance. ”You don't have to come personally,” she said with a smile on her face. ”Your technician arrived as soon as we filed a report.”

Xue Yi Ming laughed. ”You are our VVIP client. Of course, I will have to make an appearance.”

Shang Xin smiled. She led Xue Yi Ming to the security room, where he met with his technician. Then, he left the room to her assistant and went out to attend to another matter.

Once Xue Yi Ming entered the room, the two technicians stood up and greeted their boss. Xue Yi Ming raised a hand and asked them to continue fixing the system.

”How was it?”

”Someone hacked into the system,” one of the technicians said. ”We're doing our best to fix everything.”

Xue Yi Ming stared at the computer screen, which was full of codes.

”The other side did not touch anything except for the camera on the second floor,” the technician continued. He glanced at his partner and said. ”We'll restore everything in a while.”

Xue Yi Ming nodded. He stood behind the technician as he watched how they fixed the system.

After a while, Shang Xin sent her assistant into the room to provide some refreshments for the team. However, because they were too preoccupied with their tasks, they did not touch the food and snacks until they get their job done.

It was an hour later that the system was restored. The camera went live, and the missing footage was recovered. When the others watched the footage, they immediately understood why the system was hacked.

Xue Yi Ming called the boss and reported everything to her. Shang Xin's eyes turned dark as she watched the footage of the appearance of a girl. They quickly understood what was going on. She then called the police, and in ten minutes, the police arrived.

”You're not scared that it will affect your business?” Xue Yi Ming asked as Shang Xin walked him out of the club.

He had thought that Shang Xin was going to keep quiet about the matter since a famous political figure showed up in the footage earlier. Xue Yi Ming thought that, since Scarlet was a club where influential people would visit, then, won't they try their best to protect their customers?
