57 Leaving With My Boyfriend! (1/2)

”Anna, you know I don't mind. You can spend as long as you want.”

Eve said smiling at Anna. Anna who was feeling a bit nervous before she came here finally breathed a sigh of relief.

”So, I can take three months off?”

Eve nodded ”I understand that you are young and it will be too much to take on the responsibly of the head chief now....you have to find a man, settles down and have kids you know?” Eve winked. Anna laughed awkwardly ”Ri....Right!” she replied making Eve smile wider.

”You know what?.....how about you....spend more than three months?”

”Huh?” Anna raised her eyebrows ”Can I really?”

”Mmhmm” Eve nodded feeling happy after seeing the excited look on the girl's face.

”You're just 22 my dear, you are at the prime of your youth.....how about a year?. After one year you can prepare yourself and resume your duties”

”I can really take a year off?.”

Eve nodded again. However Anna smiled apologetically. ”If I take a year off, it would be like I am trying to escape my responsibilities....I don't think I can do that....” Anna sighed, she didn't want such a long break. Although it was a tempting offer, Anna was afraid of going out there and forgetting this place or everything's she's learned.

”Ok....if you say so but, I still think it is a good idea I mean, the head chief that came before you does not have any plans of retiring soon and you can just take it as waiting to inherit” Eve said to the girl. She herself wanted Anna to go and have a very long vacation. For the past two years, no one had worked as hard as her. She wanted the girl to have a rest, and maybe introduce her to a man the next time they meet.

”Now.....now that you put it that way....I guess I have no choice but to accept”

Anna said smiling brightly.

”Who are you leaving with?” Eve wanted to know if she planned to take her friends along with her.....

”Oh, I'm leaving with my boyfriend” Anna said as she got up and ran out excitedly.

”W...wait!. What boyfriend?.....” At the time Eve asked her question, the girl had already left the room.

”Aiii! Youngsters,always so....giddy over little things”

Anna hopped back to her room in a really good mood. Standing in front of her door, she began calculating the clothes she would take and the ones she wanted to leave...'Forget it, I'll take them all!'

Anna opened the door and a scream left her lips.

Amber had been waiting for Anna for quite sometime now, seeing that she didn't show she got tired and ready to leave.

Anna just happened to be standing by the door when she reached there.

”Why are you screaming?. Red told us to never react that way to fear....” Amber said blankly.

”You almost scared me to death!. What are you doing here? Were you looking for me?”

Anna couldn't stop herself from smiling as she spoke. Amber stared at the girl's happy face and her expression softened. ”Nope, I came to look for Chris Evans.....is he here?”

Anna laughed and dragged her friend back to the bed making them sit sided by side.
