Chapter 35 - Lunatic's Lair

Mu Yi Chu held his heart in his hands. The room looked even more eerie and eerie under the bright white light from his cell phone's light.

”Yiya ~ ~ ~” A sound suddenly came from behind Mu Yi Chu. Mu Yi Chu felt a chill run down his spine. He quickly turned his head and looked at his phone, only to find nothing. He could only hear the sound of the door being pushed open.

Just as Mu Yi Chu was about to heave a sigh of relief, he felt something slender move to the right of his head. His spine ached, he shook his shoulders, then subconsciously moved his body to block in front of him. He was most afraid of long, wriggling, soft-bodied creatures like snakes.

He held the phone in his hand. It took him a while before he could clearly see with his eyes that what was swaying in the air was a thin rope that was hanging down from the top. Or rather, it was the light switch in the house.

Mu Chu squeezed his eyes shut and opened them again, trying to keep himself as calm as possible. He pulled at the string.

The light flashed twice before it came on steadily. When Mu Yichu saw that the lights were on, he felt more at ease. Fortunately, the electricity had not been cut off. Mui Chu pulled down his mask. It was too stuffy, and his body desperately needed a few breaths of fresh, fresh air. When the cold air rushed into his nose, Mu Yi Chu felt his mind become much clearer.

Mu Chu turned off the light and put away his cell phone. He looked around the room and found that even if the lights were turned on, the room was still very dark.

With a cursory glance, Mu Yi Chu found that the stove was neatly lined with different sets of kitchen utensils. The faucet of the sink was leaking, and there was a very deep water basin under it. However, the water was about to overflow, so it seemed that this frugal owner had not come back for quite some time. In front of the stove was a square table and two chairs. It was obvious that the Patriarch loved cleanliness. Because that table and chair seemed to be somewhat pale because they were frequently wiped.

With a closer look, Mu Yu Die discovered something on the table. His eyes were so close to the table that he almost ignored it. Mu Yi Chu pursed his lips and slowly walked towards the table. The moment he saw that thing, a strange expression flashed across his face.

Because that black thing, if he wasn't mistaken, was the recorder.

He turned the pen, pressed the play button, and a wet, familiar sound came into his ear.

”Zi, zi, Mu, and Chu Yu, I miss you! We're so cold!”

Mu Yi Chu instantly tensed up and pressed the fast-forward button.

”Mu Yi Chu, I love you!”

They advanced even faster.

”Mu Yi Chu, where are you going today?”

They advanced even faster.

”Hello, Boss. I want that white dress.”

Mu Yi Chu kept rushing in and found that this recording pen was filled with Bai Zhongning's words. He put down the recorder pen and was surprised to find something black lurking on the chair against the wall. Mu Yi Chu stared nervously, but realized that the creature was motionless. It shouldn't be any living creature. He looked carefully.

It turned out to be a projection box. It looked exactly the same as the box in which that pervert woman had once shown him a movie. Just as Mu Yi Chu was about to pick it up, he caught a glimpse of a human-sized object faintly appearing in the open doorway of another room.

He turned his head and saw that his heart was about to jump out of his mouth.

Mu looked at it for a few seconds, only to realize that it was not a human, but the famous armrest, and more than one of them.

At this moment, Mu Yi Chu was drenched in cold sweat.

He frowned, trying not to tremble as he walked toward the room. When he shifted his gaze from the armrest standing by the door to the room behind it, Mu Yi Chu was completely stunned. A strong feeling of dizziness nearly caused him to lose his balance.

What sort of obsession was it that allowed him to reach this step? Mu Yi Chu felt a lingering fear. Had he been targeted by such a woman?

This was a f * cking madman!

Other than the ceiling of the room, the other blank walls were all covered with photos, densely packed and layered. It was unknown just how many layers the densely packed walls had accumulated. And the contents of the photo, was all Bai Zhongning.
