(Last warning guys. This story will be dark, bloody, and a little twisted. If you are easily offended you should stop now because it's only just beginning. I hope you enjoy the story but remember it is only a story and I don't condon or approve of any actions that will follow. I hope if you continue you enjoy the read.)

The school looked fairly ordinary from the outside of you ignore the bloody scene surrounding it. Before all this it probably held around a thousand students. As we approached the door our guns were trained on the dark passage beyond, because of one of the explosions the doors were blown of so we had a clear line of sight. With nothing in our way the situation screamed of a trap.

Derek reached the door first checking either side for anything hidden, with the all clear he started to move forward as me and Max covered him. After he walked in two meters I started to follow. The hallway had no doors, it was most likely used just to get outside. Derek reached the end of the hallway where it opened up on both sides. After checking both sides he signaled for us to move up.

As I got to the end of the hallway I could see empty hallways on both sides, you could tell something happened though. Lockers were destroyed, dried blood and feces everywhere, some of the doors laid in pieces on the ground, and the walls had deep gouges. The goblins seem to enjoy destroying things. From what we saw outside the left side should lead to the front entrance of the school while the right would lead to the gym. We decided it was more likely for them to be in the gym.

Max kept a watch on our backs while me and Derek walked on either side of hallway. On they way to the gym there is two doors on both sides leading to classrooms, we have to check them carefully to avoid attacks from behind.

I made my way along the wall towards the first door on my side, the door was already broken off the hinges so I could see inside a bit from where I stand. The room was a mess, the windows were broken, desks in pieces, the artwork on the walls had been torn to shreds all over the place. Standing on one side of the door I couldn't see anything inside. I moved to the other side of the door to see if anything was hidden from sight, I only found small lockers for the children to put their lunches and coats empty. Derek and Max watch me as I give the first clear and start to enter the classroom.

I put my machete in it's holder on my back and draw my hunting knife. I start to go through the wreckage just in case, the classroom was mostly open space but there were a few cabinets and desks perfect for hiding. I quickly check around the desks making sure nothing was going to slash my ankles, after a few moments of searching I still found nothing. I started to move towards the cabinets while staying alert, as I got to the first of three I listen closely for any noise. Hearing nothing I open the doors and step back, only to be greeted by empty space.

I take a deep breath to calm down the few nerves jumping around as I reach the second cabinet. Again I listen before opening the doors, this one had school supplies in it but still no goblins. I go towards the last cabinet and prepare to open the doors when I hear a rustling. I lean in to listen closer when the doors burst open landing a blow on my head and sending me onto the floor.

A small green body jumps toward me, in that moment I rolled to my side on instinct alone. The sound of a knife striking the floor sounds out from my previous position, I look up to get a look at my attacker.

The goblin had a height of around half a meter with pale almost sickly green wrinkled skin. Its face has a nasty expression, probably from missing me with it's first strike. In its hand is a large steak knife that almost looks like a short sword in it's child like hands. He makes an ugly face before making a nasty hissing sound. It came at me swingin down with the steak knife. I'm just able to block it with my knife, causing it to start staggering back from the impact.

I can tell from the block the goblin isn't very strong and after I get my bearings I'll have the upper hand in this fight. It seems to realize this as well and tries to launch a series of blows before I can get off the ground. I block the first downward swing, then the following back hand, finally I'm able to kick it back enough to pull out my pistol from it's holster. Sensing the danger it was in the goblin gave one last desperate battle cry as it launches itself at me.

GAARRGGHHH
