”F * ck!” ”Go, kill this bastard for laozi!” The man whom I kicked to the side crawled up from the ground, seeing me smash his brother fiercely, he instantly became anxious, snatched the iron rod from the other man's hands, shouted angrily, and rushed towards me.
I had already felt the movement and circled around that guy. After going around the guy's back, I pushed him forcefully and pushed him towards the man in front of me.
At the same time, I didn't rush to escape. While the two of them were clashing against each other, my iron rod mercilessly smashed onto each other's wrist from top to bottom.
After being struck on the wrist, the pain made it impossible for the other party to even hold onto the iron rod. Then I kicked the man in front of me in the back and the two of them fell forward. After doing all this, I turned around and ran towards the market.
Although it was already night and there was no one at the market, the layout of the market made it a very good place to hide. The other party has already followed me here, so it's impossible for me to return. If these people find out that I live there, it'll be even more troublesome.
As I rushed into the market, I glanced around and saw a staircase. I didn't hesitate to climb it.
Just as I climbed up, within a few seconds, the four people caught up. I stood on the steel girder of the market and held my breath, trying to hide behind it. Luckily, when I was in the village, I didn't have much fun, so I climbed up and down often. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to do it so quickly.
The four of them rushed into the market. After glancing around but didn't see me, they hurriedly started searching. At night, there were no lights in the market, and with the cover of the iron shed, there was no moonlight.
The four of them searched the entire market but didn't find me. The leading man cursed a few times and left with a few people.
After watching these people walk far away, I didn't rush to get down. After waiting for about 20 minutes to confirm that they had left, I slowly climbed down from the roof. After I climbed down, I didn't choose the two entrances to the market and left. Instead, I climbed out through a section of the market wall.
There was a warehouse on one side of the wall, and it was easy for me to climb out of it on the other side without anyone coming in.
Half an hour later, I was downstairs at the place where Tick had lived. Although Tick had already moved away, I knew that the apartment shouldn't be rented out so quickly. It's only been two days, so the landlord wouldn't let it out so quickly.
The landlord did not live here. He only came in during the day when people wanted to check in or pay rent. When Tick checked out, I forgot that I still had a key in my hand, so I didn't give it to the landlord. Later on, I couldn't be bothered to give it to him. Who would have thought that it would be used so quickly?
I tiptoed to the door of a room and carefully opened it with the key in my hand. Not daring to turn on the light, I quietly closed the door and sat on the floor with my back to the door, panting slightly.
I had been in a state of high tension along the way, and it was only then that I felt the pain in my arms and back.
Under the dim moonlight, I could vaguely see that my arm had turned black. Even though I couldn't see my back, I didn't think that it would be any better.
After resting for more than ten minutes, I slowly stood up and walked over to where I remembered the bed. However, just as I sat down on the bed, the feeling from under my butt made me realize that something was wrong, as if this wasn't what a wooden board should feel.
