Outside of the array, Hei Shi and the others were taking a break. Soon they discovered that the bottleneck-breaking scene appeared again.

He stood up immediately. “What’s going on? Another person making a breakthrough? How’s that possible? They’ve got only two people in there. Did both of them reach the Supreme Power Realm?”

Leng Feng tried to calm him. “Don’t worry. That must be a phantom Qin Haodong created in order to scare us. We weren’t scared the first time, so he made another one. That’s ridiculous.

“We’re all experienced warriors. He can’t fool us. In other words, it won’t make any difference even if he had two supreme powers because we’ve got three here. Master Hei Shi reached the second level of the Supreme Power Realm. The two fresh supreme powers are no match for him.”

Hei Shi agreed with him, but he somehow had a bad hunch.

Later the phantom disappeared, and the array fell back in silence. They waited for another hour, but nothing happened again.

Leng Feng said, “I told you Qin Haodong was trying to fool us. Now that we didn’t believe in that phantom, he won’t show up.”

The scene in front of him changed drastically. Two people came out of the array hand in hand. It was Qin Haodong and Hu Xiaoxian.

Qin Haodong looked energetic. Apparently his injuries had been healed, while his cultivation level remained at the half-step to the Supreme Power Realm, which was the same as before.

Hu Xiaoxian was still at the sixth level of the Covert Power, but she looked quite different then. Her face was rosy and she acted more like a mature woman, charming and enchanting.

It was Qin Haodong’s idea to hide their cultivation level. If both of them showed their real power, the three people would be long gone before they started to fight. It was not easy to catch a supreme power who was trying to escape. Once they were gone, endless trouble would come in future days.

Leng Feng had no idea that the two were plotting against them. He laughed arrogantly when he checked their cultivation level. “I was right. Neither of them has made a breakthrough. They were all phantoms.”

Later, he couldn’t move his eyes away from Hu Xiaoxian as if she were magnetic.

It had been just a few hours, but the woman looked even more charming than she had been just then. Leng Feng was completely fascinated.

He took two steps forward and stood in front of Qin Haodong and Hu Xiaoxian. “You can’t hide forever. Someday in the future, you’ll end up in my bed.

“As for this useless gigolo, I’ll kill him now.”

He pulled the saber from behind and slashed at Qin Haodong, but his eyes were still staring at Hu Xiaoxian’s beautiful face.

He was a supreme power, known for moving really fast. That was why he was called “the Fastest Saber”. He wasn’t trying his best on this attack, but his saber was fast enough, cutting towards Qin Haodong’s face.

Qin Haodong sneered and reached with his right hand. The Thousand Blades appeared in his hand. Then he slashed out.

Qin Haodong’s slash was faster and more violent than Leng Feng’s. The Thousand Blades were sharp and overwhelming, shaking the space around him.

“Oh my god, why is he so powerful?”

Leng Feng suddenly realized that something had gone wrong for him. His legs felt weak out of fear because the young man in front of him not only had reached Supreme Power Realm but had also gone beyond that.

It turned out that what he had seen was no phantom at all. The two pretended to be at their same realms because they were playing the fool to catch the wise.

He had lost all his courage when he was faced with the violent slash. He tried to turn back and escape, but it was already too late. Leng Feng’s was cut into halves, with his blood splattering everywhere.

All of that happened too fast. Within a blink, Leng Feng had already become two halves, falling down on the ground.

Hei Shi’s pupils contracted. Leng Feng might be very arrogant, but Hei Shi also believed that even he wouldn’t be able to kill a supreme power within a slash.

Yagyuu Yukime was startled. She pulled out her Doujigiri Yasutsuna and stood in her alert posture.

The most panicked one was Zhou Tianhu. Qin Haodong didn’t slash towards him, but the strong effects brought by it nearly made him wet his pants.

Hei Shi was hesitating. It used to be more than easy to kill Qin Haodong to avenge his son’s death. He never thought that Qin Haodong could escape and grow so powerful. Judging by the attack Qin Haodong performed just then, the young man might have surpassed him in cultivation.

The older Hei Shi was, the more fear he had for death. He was over one hundred years old at the time, but he still wanted to live. He was a little fearful then, and he wanted to get away.

Yagyuu Yukime stood beside him and whispered, “We have to fight together.”
