Chapter 449 - Defend Against Injustice (1/2)

Huang Cailun continued to growl. “Bitch, you’re still not convinced, are you? Today, I will show you what will happen if you offend me.”

With that, he turned his head and shouted towards one side of the hall, “Where is the owner of the teahouse? Hurry up and come out. You must be held accountable for what happened today.”

The noise there was too loud, as it had already alarmed the lobby manager. He ran over quickly. When he saw the angry Huang Cailun, he quickly said, “Master Huang, what happened? Are you not satisfied with your meal?”

“Are you fucking blind?” Huang Cailun pointed to the slap print on his face and aggressively continued his tirade, “I have been slapped by the bitch who plays music here. Today, you must give me an explanation for this.”

Hearing Huang Cailun’s complaint first, the lobby manager immediately turned his head towards Shihan, as his face instantly changed from servile to domineering. “Are you crazy? How dare you hit the guest? Apologize to Master Huang quickly.”

Even though the guest had flirted with his own staff first, he actually asked her to apologize. Many guests were extremely unsatisfied by the lobby manager’s approach.

Shihan glared angrily at the lobby manager, then turned around and left, completely ignoring his words.

Huang Cailun shouted, “Bitch, where are you going? Stop right there!”

The lobby manager stood in front of her and shouted, “Jia Shihan, are you deaf? I told you to apologize to Master Huang!”

Only then did Qin Haodong find out that the girl’s full name was Jia Shihan.

As soon as the manager finished shouting, he heard a banging sound. A bright red palmprint had appeared on his face.

Jia Shihan’s face was flushed. It was obvious that she had been angered to the breaking point. She slapped the lobby manager and then continued walking away.

Seeing that, the guests next to them began to clap their hands in approval.

Just then, a sharp voice sounded.

“You stop right there. If you dare take another step, I will break that leg and sell you to the bath center.”

Qin Haodong looked towards the direction of the voice and saw a woman walking over. She was ridiculously fat; her waistline was no thinner than her height. She walked like a big rolling meatball.

Such a person was fond of using heavy layers of makeup. Her big and greasy face was covered with all kinds of cosmetics. When she walked, not only did the fat all over her body tremble, the powder on her face also kept falling down. It made people nauseous.

The rotund woman was Zhu Dongmei, the teahouse’s owner. Everyone called her Big Fat Pig in secret.

Zhu Dongmei approached Jia Shihan and yelled ferociously, “if you pretend to be arrogant in front of me again, I will sell you to the bath center to be their bitch!”

Huang Cailun listened to her words with a hideous smile and said, “That would be nice. When that time comes, I will take people to visit you every day, just to see if you still try to pretend in front of me.”

His squinting eyes were fixed on Jia Shihan’s convex and concave figure, as if he had seen what it looked like to be pinned down by him.

Jia Shihan remained silent but stood there with angry eyes.

“Bitch, are you deaf? Quickly get down on your knees and apologize to Master Huang!”

Zhu Dongmei was about to go crazy due to anger. On weekdays, she was bitter and ferocious when dealing with the teahouse staff. She never thought that there would ever be a time where an employee struck a guest. If the news got out, how could her teahouse be open in the future? Who would send money to the Heming Teahouse?

Jia Shihan glanced at Zhu Dongmei and still kept her silence. It seemed that there were no words that could express her feelings at that moment.

Zhu Dongmei continued in a harsh tone, “Jia Shihan, let me tell you, you signed a three-year contract. It is clearly written in our contract that you must give priority to the image of the teahouse and absolutely not affect its business. Otherwise, you will have to pay a compensation that is ten times your three years’ worth of salary. Are you trying to break the rules now?”

“This is too cruel. How can there even be such an unfair clause in the contract…?”

The guests around them began to whisper.

Jia Shihan said angrily, “I don’t understand your contract at all. You tricked me into signing it.”

Zhu Dongmei immediately screamed like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. “Liar. Your name is clearly signed in black on the white paper. How did I lie to you?”

“Boss, I am friends with your husband, Brother Zhu. I usually support the Heming Teahouse’s business. However, I was hit by a woman here today. Shouldn’t you give me an explanation?”

Huang Cailun added more fire to Zhu Dongmei’s anger.

Zhu Dongmei shook her fat body, then she stared at Jia Shihan and shouted, “Quickly apologize to Master Huang. Otherwise I will make it impossible for you to survive in Shanghai.”

“What a big tone!”

said Qin Haodong, smiling disdainfully.

“Don’t talk nonsense little brother. This teahouse has an underworld background.”

The fat man moved his chair towards Qin Haodong and whispered in his ear, “Hou Qingzhu, the owner of the teahouse, has friendly relations with a few of the elders from the Shanghai underworld, so the landlady isn’t really bragging. As long as she says a word, it will definitely be hard for Shihan to survive in Shanghai.”

An extremely troubled look flashed in Jia Shihan’s beautiful eyes. It contained grief, anger, unwillingness and sadness.

Seeing her expression, many of the guests present were moved with compassion. But sympathy was sympathy. It was impossible for them to stand up and speak on her behalf.

Jia Shihan did not expect those people to help, either. “Don’t deceive others too much,” She said angrily to Zhu Dongmei.
