Nalan Wushuang’s face suddenly clouded. He had sounded her out politely before, but now his question and offer seemed a bit insulting.

She refused in a cold voice, “I don’t want your car and I don’t want to see you again. Please, leave now.”

The C-list star was relieved to hear Nalan Wushuang’s words. She didn’t care who she was and wouldn’t treat her like an enemy as long as she rejected Bao’s offer.

She said to Bao Mingyu in a cutesy voice, “It’s almost time. The auction is about to start. Let’s go inside.”

However, Bao Mingyu was agitated and the fake smile on his face also disappeared. He said with heavy irony, “I really don’t know what you are thinking. Have you realized that you’re wasting your gift and resources? Why on earth would you want to stay with a poor little boy? You are not even allowed to attend this auction with him.

“Be my girlfriend and I can take you to the auction. It’s a snap to me and I’ll buy you whatever you want.”

He believed that they were standing here stupidly because they hadn’t received the invitation card and couldn’t attend the auction.

Nalan Wushuang was immediately enraged by his words. She didn’t care what he had said about her, but how dare he insult Qin Haodong? This was her bottom line and she couldn’t allow this to happen.

Nalan Wushuang broke out and threw the business card on Bao Mingyu’s face.

Bao Mingyu had never expected that Nalan Wushuang would humiliate him in public. This was a public place so he could do nothing else other than shoot an angry glance at them and leave with his lover.

Obviously, Nalan Wushuang was still angry and her chest heaved with rage.

“Calm down.” Qin Haodong smiled and said, “He’s the boss of an entertainment company. Don’t you want to be a big star?”

Nalan Wushuang replied, “If you have an entertainment company, I’ll willing to work for you as a star.”

Qin Haodong said, “Forget it. I have no interest.”

As they were talking and joking, Tian Ye run out of the revenue in a hurry. He was stunned at the sight of Qin Haodong and Nalan Wushuang. Then he came forward and asked politely, “Excuse me, are you Mr. Qin?”

Qin Haodong nodded and said, “Yes.”

Tian Ye was a little surprised. He didn’t expect that the distinguished guest of the Li family was such a young man. However, as the man in charge of the auction company, he was sophisticated and didn’t show any emotions. He said respectfully, “I’m sorry, Mr. Qin, I’m late.”

Qin Haodong said, “Never mind. Let’s go.”

Tian Ye led the way and took them into the auction house.

The auction company, owned by the Li family, was the top one in Hong Kong. It was spacious and had luxurious decorations.

They entered and found that the hall was full of guests and everyone was waiting for the auction to get started.

Bao Mingyu took the movie star into the auction house and she was surprised at its area and decorations. “Young Master Bao, this auction house is so big.”

“Of course it is. This is the most famous one in Hong Kong.” Bao Mingyu said with pride, “Besides, there’s a membership system and ordinary people are not allowed to come in. Do you still remember the two people standing at the door? They’re just nobodies and can only peek from outside.”

The movie star said flatteringly, “You must be a member here.”

“Of course, I’m a Gold member here and have to buy at least 100 million worth of items in the auction.” Bao Mingyu pointed to a row of seats in the front of the venue and boasted, “These are special seats for gold members and ordinary people can only sit in the back.”

The star pleaded, “Can I sit here with you?”

Bao Mingyu said, “Of course. Gold members can bring a person to attend the auction with them.”

“Great! Thank you for allowing me to enjoy the special seat with you!” She sat down and noticed several extremely luxurious seats in front of them. She was curious and asked, “Mr. Bao, what are those seats for?”

Bao Mingyu explained, “Those are extraordinary. They are supreme VIP seats and are prepared for esteemed guests in Hong Kong, such as the Governor, Master Mei Zhanlong, and his disciples. They’re all billionaires and must have spent ten million yuan here.”

His eyes sparkled with envy and he said, “I will definitely be there one day.”

He was looking forward to the future but his face was frozen when he saw Qin Haodong and Nalan Wushuang come in together.
