248 Sail 246 Argieva (2/2)

”Mmm. Welcome.”

Fran shook Moldred's hand and went back to his room. Now all we have to do is wait for you to sail.

Then the sailors came to call me ready for lunch. It's my first day, so they came all the way here to show me around. We'll have a proper morning, noon and evening meal, and it's not a bad request. Great for sailors. Fran is a satisfactory amount.

As I finished my lunch and was neat, I accidentally felt a mild vibration. Evidence that it's not my fault that Fran, who slept in bed, is also getting her upper body up and kicking around.

”Master, did you shake?

'A little, though. It can't be an earthquake... Maybe you set sail.

This is the only giant ship, so it won't shake heavily with small waves or anything like that. However, if it started to move from a moored state, there seemed to be some degree of vibration.

”I'll go.”

”Right.”

When I rushed out onto the deck, I felt the harbor was farther than it had been on board. Fran and Ursi rush over to the fringe and look down.

”I knew you were moving.”

”Mmm.”

”On”

The surrounding landscape is moving slowly. They still sailed. Is there just any tape for the drop off? This ship is not a passenger ship, and there will be dozens of ships in and out of the port every day. You won't be able to drop me off every time.

”That's fast.”

Yes, the ship was faster than I thought. Whatever the wind is in the outer ocean, all the masts are still folded.

I mean, I guess that's all they have powerful propulsion magic props. A level of demonic props that can move this giant ship. You're a little interested in what kind of abilities it is.

Is it a screw, an aqua jet, or does it produce wind? Or is it my unimaginable and strange ability?

”Let's go check it out when it's settled.”

”Explore!”

”Ooh.”

That's how I enjoyed the view from the fringe, and Captain Jerome came closer.

”Hey, can you see anything unusual?

”It's moving.”

”Ahem? Well, Princess Black Thunder doesn't have much experience aboard the ship?”

”Mm-hmm. I've never had a bigger ship”

”Right, right.”

”Is it working with demon props?

”Whoa. This ship is loaded with the latest type of demon propulsion, right? Not only that, but we also have a demon-sheltered junction generator, and we have eight demon-guided turrets.”

They still have plenty of demonic props in use. The appearance is the same as that of a medieval ship on Earth, but I guess the performance is far superior. If you can gain propulsion with a magic prop, you can go ahead without the wind.

Still, there's no such thing as a demon shelter junction. If you have something like that, don't you need an escort?

If Fran asks that, it seems the junction isn't omnipresent either. First of all, this junction is for no signs to be perceived from large warcraft, which seems ineffective for small, medium-sized warcraft. Well, there are many kinds of warcraft in the ocean that have a large body, and if such a warcraft strikes you from the bottom of the ship, you'll be able to sink without having to deal with it.

So they have a device at the bottom of the ship that generates a junction that hides itself from a large warcraft and a junction that a small medium-sized warcraft hates approaching.

And then it looks like you need an escort to fight piracy. Ordinary pirates don't target ships that are under the direct control of the state. Because if the country is watched, and even the Crusaders are organized, then ruin will not be spared. On the contrary, however, it meant that the pirates coming after the Argieva were often the great pirates with that much confidence.

The newest demon guide turret and shaking it off at foot speed is fundamental, but in some cases it can be grounded and battled. In doing so, the power of the adventurer becomes important.

”I'm counting on you, Princess Black Thunder?

”Mm-hmm. I got it.”

”Ha, you're reliable! The next voyage is going to be a safe journey!
