375 373 Gringoat again (1/2)

We left Alistair's hall, and we were going all the way to Gringoat. I also want to know if the Black Cats have been safely evacuated, and I want to purchase information about the war.

”I see it.”

”On!”

I left in the morning, and after noon, I was looking at Gringoat in my sight.

”The walls are a little broken”

”Oh, sounds like you had quite a fierce fight”

Even though Chiara and Meir have somewhat annihilated the Herd of Warcraft, there will naturally be leaks. They must have hit Gringoat.

I can tell from the walls and the tragedy surrounding them that there was a rather intense battle. There are burnt marks on the walls, and some of the surrounding forests are burned. Not only that, but the trees were pushed down, and the earth chosen remained intact.

But the castle gate, though wounded, remains undamaged, and on the walls we see soldiers patrolling. They stopped me from getting inside the city.

In the meantime, we decided to step down a little further than the castle gate. If it had been before, there would have been a long line of snakes for scrutiny to enter the town, but now the castle gate is tightly closed and there are no figures of people.

When we got off Ursi's back and approached the castle gate alone, who or what was heard from the soldiers who were on the castle wall.

”Hey, who are you!

At the same time, I can see multiple bows pointing this way.

”Fran, I don't feel like killing...... maybe”

”Mmm.”

All existential sensing does too much work and too much information, but I don't think soldiers on the walls are willing to kill. It's just a lot of vigilance and fright.

”Fran. Adventurer”

”Like you...”

”Hey! Wait!

Put the soldier who tried to raise his voice even more in a panicked manner by a colleague who was next door.

”What are you doing!

”Oh, that one's fine!

Apparently there was a soldier who remembered Fran. Sounds like you don't have to spend any extra time on this.

In the end, the soldier identified Fran and allowed him to enter the city. That's a lot of people in there. It's just not lively at all. Because many of them are refugees who have fled the surrounding villages.

He lays a goza on both sides of Central Avenue and leans against each other as a family. I guess he hastily escaped wearing it. Most of them were sitting around with no smiles or anything, just tired expressions.

However, as I walked down the street to the Lords' Hall, there was a different corner of things from other refuge stopovers. Tents and such are regularly stretched here, and even simple cooking places are made. And there everyone was bickering in an easy-going manner.

”You saved me a lot of trouble asking for a place in the Lords' Hall.”

”Mmm!”

It is a gathering area for the refugees from Schwarzkatze. I also felt it when escaping the herd of warcraft, but I hear the Black Cats are really used to escape. Obviously, they are well prepared in advance, and they seem to be more adaptable in places like this than in other beasts.

That is the homeless people who continued to flee. Getting a secure place called Schwarzkatze didn't seem to have lost its good escape.

Fran discovers a familiar man and rushes over.

”Mayor!”

”Oh! Princess! Are you all right!

”Guys! The princess is back!

”Princess! Welcome home!

Everyone greets me with an awesome smile. Fran seems a little confused, but I guess she has more joy than that.

”I'm home.”

Hang in there and let everyone try to nod. Shit, the mess is cute. The feeling seemed to be the same for the Black Cats, all of whom were disgruntled and laughing at Nico.

Fran is a hero and an idol for the Black Cats. I was quickly surrounded by a black cat crowd.
