Chapter 225 Lesson Four: Departure (1/2)

As far as the Kermes Beast Kingdom was to be taken by boat from the city of Missinga, several knights, including Cain, as well as a midnight festival seconded by the church, were gathered.

The ship anchored in the harbour was a medium-sized sailboat, and Hagnes explained that there were also large sailboats, but because of the urgency, he visited the Kingdom of Esfort on a medium-sized boat with an early foot.

The ship had already been transported with ingredients and other items purchased from the city of Missinga and had just waited for its departure.

”Lord Cain, make sure you come home safe.”

”Yes, of course.”

Count Legant and Cain shake hands forcefully, also lords of Missinga in the harbor.

In fact it is faster to fly away in the sky than to go by boat, but where Cain alone headed, the side of the Kermes Beast Kingdom was unable to cope and had to accompany Hagness.

Cain finishes his greeting and boards the ship. T r ansla te d by Jpm tl.c o m

”Shh shh shh!

When the rope that was tied to the harbor is broken and the sail is stretched, the ship slowly advances.

It was the first time the ship had been in Cain's life, but I have ridden it many times in my previous life, so I have no fear. But the accompanying knights and church officials were driven by fear.

In the meantime, the ship proceeds to the sea plains.

Cain was guided to the finest rooms by Hagness.

”This will be Lord Cain's room. We would like to direct you to a meeting immediately.”

Tra n slate d by Jpm tl .com Walking after Hagness and diving through the door was a large conference room. Several people are already sitting down, and when Cain gets to his seat, a man, supposedly the captain, starts talking while pointing to the nautical chart.

”As per this nautical chart, we plan to take this route. So we're on our way to the Kermes Beast Kingdom, but depending on the wind conditions, we'll be there in a week or so.”

Since this world is dominated by sailboats, ships will not proceed without the wind. Cain suggests, however, that the war had begun and was in dire need.

”I can use magic. If you use wind magic to wind the sails, you will arrive early.”

”I appreciate that suggestion, but I'm only in court magicians or high-ranking adventurers, such as those who can use magic for such a long time. In elementary, intermediate wizards, if you wind up for an hour, you're out of magic.”

To Cain's words the captain says the word of denial. I understand that wind magic is actually useful, but I know that it cannot be maintained for long periods of time.

But Cain is not a normal amount of magic. Sleep was necessary, but it was easy, for example, to continue moderate magic for a long time.

”No problem then. I'll send the wind to the sail. I can't do it day or night, but now is the time to contend for a moment. Let me help you to the best of my ability.”

In Cain's head, he was full of summoned brave men. If the struggle with the brave men with the strength to isolate is prolonged, the Kermes Beast Kingdom will surely become fatigued.
