Mo Feiye played with the teacup in his hand, a biting cold light flashing across his deep black eyes.

”Crown Prince has just arrived, I think he is still not familiar with the situation in the army. After His Highness is familiar with the situation, we will discuss about the military deployment again.”

Putting down the tea in his hand, Mo Feiye stood up and walked out of the tent, seeing him leave, a few generals followed suit.

Before Mo Feiye could walk out of the tent, the sound of a table being overturned came from behind him.

”Whoever dares to step out of this tent, I will surrender his position!” That extremely cold voice came from behind the crowd. It was obvious that the Crown Prince was angry.

The Crown Prince looked at Mo Feiye's back, and spoke with a voice full of viciousness: ”Mo Feiye disobeys my orders, dares to charge into my palace, and is disrespectful to me! Today, the Japanese palace is going to strip him of his position as general, and in the future, you are not allowed to participate in any military discussions, and you are not allowed to lead troops to war!”

When some of the generals heard that the crown prince wanted to punish Mo Feiye, they advised, ”Crown Prince, General Mo did not do it on purpose.

”Your Highness, think twice!” ”You would be a disgrace to the soldiers if you do this.”

”…”

”Enough, if anyone tries to persuade me again, I will suffer the same punishment as Mo Feiye!” The crown prince swept his vicious gaze at the generals present, and a trace of coldness could be heard in his voice.

In an instant, no one dared to speak. Which one of them didn't go through life and death before sitting in their current position? No one wanted to be fired because of this.

”Tomorrow, we will raise our troops to attack the Huns. As for the arrangement, I will inform you before we depart.” After saying that, the Crown Prince flicked his sleeves and left.

For a time, the tent fell into silence.

One of them turned to Mo Feiye and asked: ”General Mo, what should we do next?”

Amongst these people, there were naturally those who were loyal to Mo Feiye.

”I'm no longer a general, you guys have matters to discuss with His Highness, don't look for me.” Mo Feiye's eyes that were as deep as ink flashed, his expression was calm, without a trace of anger.

Everyone watched Mo Feiye walk out of the camp in a daze. Some of them even slowly heaved a sigh of relief. They thought that the two would start fighting due to the atmosphere just now.

He never thought that the General Mo would be so calm after allowing the crown prince to strip them of his position.

Inside the tent, Mo Ranran watched as Mo Feiye walked in. Her clear eyes flickered, and she softly spoke: ”What, you don't seem happy?”

Although Mo Feiye did not express anything on the surface, she could feel that he was not in a good mood.

”It's nothing, I'm just a little tired.” Mo Feiye smiled at her lightly, and there was a trace of weariness in his voice.

”Then you rest first, I'm going back.”

With that, Mo Ranran lowered his eyes and turned to walk out the door.

Seeing that she was about to leave, Mo Feiye reached out and pulled her by the hand, pulling her into his embrace with a low voice that carried a trace of magnetism, ”Don't go, accompany me.”

”Didn't you refuse to see me? Why are you unwilling to let me go now?” Mo Ranran raised his eyebrows, and his voice carried a trace of ridicule.

”I was afraid of infecting you.” Mo Feiye's voice was soft, carrying a trace of a different kind of emotion.

An hour later, Mo Ranran looked at the sleeping Mo Feiye on the bed, and his gaze slowly landed on his injured arm.

She gently pulled open Mo Feiye's sleeves, revealing the arm that was wrapped in gauze. She was afraid of waking Mo Feiye up, so her actions were very light and careful.

Very quickly, the wound was revealed, and it was neither small nor large. Although the wound was not large, when he thought about how he had yet to find the appropriate amount of antidote, Mo Ranran's heart could not calm down.

After looking at Mo Feiye's wound, Mo Ranran was about to wrap the gauze around it. However, a hairpin slipped out of the man's sleeves, causing Mo Ranran to pause in her movements and put the gauze down. She then picked up the hairpin.

Wasn't this the hairpin that my grandma gave me?

Wasn't the hairpin taken away by the Ghost-Masked Man earlier, why was it in Mo Feiye's hands now?

Mo Ranran touched the hairpin, and a faint smell of blood came out from it. The smell was very faint, ordinary people would not be able to smell it.

She placed the hairpin before taking a sniff. Not only did the hairpin smell like blood, it also smelled like medicinal herbs.

Obviously, someone had cleaned up the hairpin before, and her beautiful eyes were focused. Mo Ranran glanced at Mo Feiye who was on the bed and took the hairpin and left the tent.

Even though it was already late at night, there were still people inside the camp.

A military doctor saw Mo Ranran who was outside the camp and slowly walked forward to greet him: ”Greetings Miss Mo. It's already so late, what is this lady here for?”

”I have something that I want to ask Military Surgeon Wang.” Mo Ranran looked around, his gaze landing on Military Surgeon Wang in the crowd.

Military Surgeon Wang put down the medicinal ingredients in his hands, looked at Mo Ranran and asked: ”What is it?”

”Can I have a word with you?” Mo Ranran's gaze swept past all the doctors present, and slightly flashed.

She didn't know how many people present knew that Mo Feiye was infected with the plague. For safety's sake, she decided to call Military Surgeon Wang out to ask.

Military Surgeon Wang looked at Mo Ranran with some difficulty, ”Miss Mo, please leave.” In the end, he still followed her out of the tent.

When the two of them arrived at a place with no one around, Mo Ranran swept his deep and serene gaze across the Military Surgeon Wang and was the first to speak —

”I saw Mo Feiye today.”
