Successfully warping up the meeting, Zhi Ruo instantly walked out of the conference meeting and headed to her office.

Seeing Wang Yong obediently sleeping on the couch, she sighed a breath of relief and sat next to his sleeping head, calmly petting his head.

Not long after, Zhi Ruo got up to go back to work but Wang Yong woke up and held her hand in place.

They walked out of the building and headed to a restaurant near her office.

After eating, Zhi Ruo had to bring back Wang Yong to the mansion because of the charity event she had to attend.

Arriving at the Zhi household, Zhi Ruo started to prepare herself. Even though they were using the excuse of a charity event, it was basically a social event to judge each other and for a successful businesswoman like her, she was basically a piece of meat.

Zhi Ruo opened her gigantic walk-in closet built in a separate room connected to her main bedroom and started to ponder, ” Can I just wear all of them? ”

The dazzling dresses in different ranges of colours, in price and in designs were all magnificent, she really didn't know which one to wear.

In the end, Zhi Ruo settled for a royal blue gown that fitted her thin waist perfectly and almost arrived at the floor.

Zhi Ruo was too lazy to do something extravagant with her hair so she simply curled them, resulting in soft waves. She paired the outfit with matching jewelry and put on some light makeup.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Zhi Ruo happily beamed, ' Being rich and pretty sure is great! '

Ready to go, she walked down the stairs where Wang Yong was impatiently waiting for her.

Wang Yong's eyes shined as he saw Zhi Ruo walked down the stairs and realized that was not dressing up for him.

” Xiao Yong? ” Zhi Ruo waved her hand in front of Wang Ying's dazed face.

Wang Yong observed the girl more carefully and saw her beautiful brown eyes reflecting his face. He then looked at the beautiful dress she was wearing that was fitting her like a glove and was stunned by her exploding beauty.

” Ruoruo...” Wang Yong's eyes became teary.

” Hmm? Why are you crying? ” Zhi Ruo was confused.

” Do you really need to go? ” Wang Yong asked in a pitiful voice.

” It's an important event so I need to go...” Zhi Ruo gently explained.

It was not that she could not attend the event but after promising she would come, it would be irresponsible of her to back out and she didn't want Wang Yong to become too dependent on her.
