The next morning, Han Yan packed her luggage and left the room. As soon as she left, he saw more than ten disciples standing there. Most of these people had met before, but they rarely spoke. They came to send Han Yan off. Seeing so many people, Han Yan was slightly stunned. Just as she was about to speak, Xie Hu came out from the door and said with a smile, ”Han Yan, when you become an immortal, don't forget about us!”
At this moment, Han Yan was truly touched. He knew this was all due to Xie Hu. If it weren't for Xie Hu, no one would have seen him off. He had always been a solitary person and didn't have many friends, unlike Xie Hu, who could become a friend with just a few words. Most of the outer disciples knew him.
Xie Hu smiled and said, ”Don't lament. What I did was to tell everyone that as long as they work hard in their cultivation, there will be a day when they will be chosen by the elders and become an inner disciple.”
Han Yan was surprised, then looked at Xie Hu in confusion.
Xie Hu suddenly lowered his voice and said, ”These people all want to buy my secret scripture. If I don't bring you out, how can they pay such a high price!”
Hearing this, Han Yan bitterly smiled and waved goodbye to everyone.
These people cheered and sent Han Yan to the intersection before slowly leaving.
Xie Hu didn't leave and said to Han Yan, ”Don't blame this brother for not informing you! ”I can do this to you, but it won't affect you.”
Han Yan didn't take this matter to heart at all, and joked, ”Since you got the money, shouldn't you give it to me!”
”Forget it!” Xie Hu waved his hand. ”You're already an immortal, do you still care about this little bit of money? If you have time in the future, remember to come back and visit. ” As he said this, his expression became somewhat gloomy. Although he had made quite a few friends in the past few months, Han Yan was the most sincere one. Seeing that Han Yan was about to leave, he felt reluctant.
Han Yan nodded her head heavily. He knew that after they left this time, the next time they would meet would be when.
Han Yan was filled with emotions as she walked towards the inner courtyard. She had originally thought that it would take him at least three years to enter the inner courtyard. Entering the inner courtyard was only the first step in cultivating immortality. The road ahead was still very long. Han Yan touched the Heavenly Jade Seal and took a long breath of fresh air before speeding up her pace.
After walking for half a day, Han Yan finally saw the mountain that was surrounded by clouds. This mountain was called the Tian Tian Peak, it was the main peak of the sect, surrounded by four other secondary peaks. These five mountains were where the inner disciples cultivated. Amongst them, the main peak had the most buildings. The alchemy pharmacy, Spirit Artifact Pavilion, and the rune room were all here. The last time she went home to visit her family, she also came from the inner courtyard, but she didn't have the qualifications to go to the main peak. Instead, she went to the talisman room at the foot of the mountain.
Although Han Yan's master's cultivation base was not high and she wasn't very famous, she was still an elder and was qualified to live on the mountain peak.
Arriving at the foot of the mountain, a pair of disciples guarding the mountain stopped him and asked in a stern voice, ”Who are you?”
Han Yan took out a thumb-sized jade token from her chest and handed it to a Mountain Guarding disciple, saying, ”Two Senior Brothers, we are here on orders from my master to head to the inner courtyard.”
The disciple took the jade pendant and indifferently glanced at it. He noticed that there was very little spiritual power in Han Yan's body and coldly snorted, ”Who is your master?”
After Han Yan said Wei Peng's name, that disciple couldn't help but laugh. Then, he thought of something and put on a cold expression, ”Since you are a disciple of Junior Master Wei Peng, then let's go into the mountain!” In the morning, the disciples guarding the mountain all received the news that Martial Uncle Wei Peng's new disciple wanted to go up the mountain. As long as that person said Wei Peng's name, they would be allowed to pass.
Han Yan took the jade token, and quickly walked over after asking where his master lived. Not long after he left, the two disciples couldn't help but laugh out loud. One of them said, ”What kind of Master really has what kind of disciple? Martial Uncle Wei Peng is too funny. He's actually the same as his Master, having a disciple like him.”
The other person also laughed and said, ”I really don't know what Martial Uncle Wei Peng is thinking. Although Martial Uncle's talent isn't good, he has at least a 3-star spiritual root. Just now, I used my spiritual sense to feel his physique.
The disciple who had spoken earlier was called Zhang Ye. He smiled and asked, ”He's not a 1-star, is he?” He thought, to be able to become an outer disciple, there had to be at least one star, and those who were less than one star wouldn't even have the chance to enter the sect.
Qian Chao laughed heartily and said, ”If only he was a 1-star. That kid doesn't even have a 1-star.”
Zhang Ye was stunned for a moment, and said in disbelief, ”How is that possible? How can he enter the sect without a 1-star master teacher?”
Qian Chao chuckled. Then, he lowered his voice and said, ”I heard that senior uncle Wei Peng often goes down the mountain. I wonder what he is up to? He isn't the illegitimate son of senior uncle Wei Peng!”
”Stop bullshitting.” Zhang Ye said, ”He is too inferior to Senior Uncle Wei Peng! ”How could he be an illegitimate child?”
