68 Nimrod: The Mighty King (1/2)
Nimrod was a prodigy, as his brothers were born powerless!!
It almost seemed as if he stole all of the powers supposed to go to them, and added them to his even before he or they were born.
Cush knew the importance of that, and mistakenly attributed it to a prophecy!
Everybody grew up holding Nimrod to a great stature.
He'd walk out as a prince and have people serving him whatever he pleases.
He was a silent mysterious child, would only speak when it's most needed.
But he always loved to show his great powers to the people.
Whenever a danger comes, be it natural or human he'd protect them.
At first they thought it's because of his righteous nature, even he at first thought so...
After the departure of his father into the land of Cush, Nimrod was the obvious choice as the king.
He started by expanding his territory, and built Babel, Erech, and Akkad.
3 of the greatest Babylonian cities.
There is a difference between a ruler and a king, Nimrod was the first king of this world.
A strong built man, a manly face covered with a dense brown beard, eyes as sharp as a knife, a face only able to show anger and discontent!
His muscles were as hard as steel, neither too big nor too small.
Stoon Tall between the Tallests
Always wearing a red coat reaching on to his legs, and stays topless no matter the weather.
Beside the physical power, Nimrod had the power of fire!
He could control it as he pleases, either start or put it down.
But what made people bow down to his greatness, was the fact that he could give life to who the people thought were having their last breath!
With a touch of his big mighty hands, they'd get back their health as if nothing was before!!
So he had 3 of the major Atlantean powers.
Physicality, Fire and Healing.
At the time, no one would dare call himself as strong.
Nimrod grew bored of his peaceful reign, and felt alienated from his people because of the power disparity.
He grew up with no friends or companions, his brothers themselves were usually afraid of him.
His only friend the whole time, was Beelzebub!!
He had the ability to see Devils and Jinnies, and he would not care in his earlier years thinking that everybody could do the same.
Until he learnt from Beelzebub himself that he's the only one able to do so.
Once, when Nimrod was sitting lonely in his majestic throne, Beelzebub payed him a special visit.
An order straight from Satan,
it was time...
Beelzebub. ”...It's a sign of ascendence, a sign of supreme power.
Have you not think that whenever you heal the dead, people would praise God before they would praise you?”
Nimrod. ”Yes I do, that's what my father also teached us.
Although it feels sick sometimes but...”
Beelzebub. ”But what? Your majesty...
Let me ask you a question.
Who's God?”
Nimrod was never asked such question before, nor thought about it much...
”...God is...”
He stayed silent and gave it more thought, then continued.
”....God is the most powerful!”
Beelzebub. ”Indeed Sir, For sure this creation has its creator..
But he abondonned it long ago! Everything is run through humans now..
You, your father and Uncles, all having to rule this earth.
But none of them have what you have...
Powers no other human can surpass!
You give life and take it, you save your people and assure them a calm happy life.
Everything..in your hands!
Why wouldn't you be another God yourself?
You got everything to be that if you ask me.”
Nimrod rejected the thought of it at first, and grabbed Beelzebub by the throat!!
It is safe to say that even Beelzebub wasn't as mighty as Nimrod.
