91 Be Like Water! (1/2)

As for the rising Alchemist, Oumad spends most of his time either in the library or being teached by Alkeyder.

He's already started to learn how to control one of the 4 elements, which is water!

Everyday he sits near the water tunnels and tries to move it, while Alkeyder is assisting him.

Galahad was just passing by and decided to sit and watch him as well.

Alkeyder. ”Focus well, you have to connect your soul with water!

Just like you do with plants, you have to feel as if it was flowing from within you...

When you reach the moment when it feels like fresh water pouring in your insides, that is when you know you can start controlling it.”

Oumad does exactly that, to help himself he closed his eye and just listenned to the sound of water...

Then! He opens his eye...

And some of the water floated on the surface, not much but it was clearly visible...

”That's it, now try to add more to it... You have to make that connection stronger!

More focus!” Alkeyder keeps instructing him.

Oumad closes his eyes again and tries harder...

But the harder he tried, the more he lost his balance and eventually couldn't keep up with it.

”Ugh! I messed up again...

It is harder than i thought!”

Alkeyder. ”Ofcourse it is, It took me years to have basic control over the elements.

That is why i never displayed that technic in front of you.

But here, take a look.”

Without closing his eyes, Alkeyder creates a fontain from the flowing water.

Oumad and Joshou were very much impressed.

”You see, when you become one with it. It becomes one with you!

Now ofcourse I cannot create a tsunami if i wanted, but sometimes smaller things are stronger than bigger ones.”

Alkeyder creates a very thin line of water in the air, and then throws it to the ground, almost like a sword made of water!

It cut right through the ground!!

”Technics like this, can become very useful for you in the future.” He says as he ends up his little show.

Oumad. ”Well, I don't know how will i get to that point but i'll surely try.”

Alkeyder. ”You have advantages i didn't have back then, you'll do it in less time if you put all your effort in it.”

Joshou stood silent, just gazed and listenned well to their conversation, then left on his way.

Alkeyder and Oumad tracked him with their eyes as he left.

Oumad. ”He surely is different, isn't he?”

Alkeyder. ”Yes, but that is more than understandable when you consider his backstory.

But it's okey, he won't stay this closed to himself for so long.”

In fact, Joshou was thinking deeply about how Oumad is able to connect himself with water, something that normally is said to have no soul!
