109 Inevitable! (1/2)

Jarabulus, Assyria.

This small city who once was simple, yet very beautiful and calm, has turned to a shell of itself after war. Dust replaced green, tents replaced buildings, continuous problems in finding water and electricity.

This was the life of the few people left living in their mother lands, one of them was Ayla!

Although living in such poor conditions, it was a blessing in disguise that granted them a life very human, everyone knew one another, everyone would help the other by whatever means necessary.

Having Ayla living within them was God's biggest gift.

Medical care is at its lowest, only two or three doctors would come rarely to check on the citizens, just as a charity act. It wasn't enough, therefore many were taken away by diseases and sickness.

Ayla realizing her ability to help cure these cases, or atleast improving their state, has decided to use her powers on a higher scale.

As Ayla was walking in the streets, she was greeted.

”Miss Ayla, i hope you're having a good day.” said a young woman holding her child.

Ayla, with a sweet smily face. ”Miss Lilas! How are you doing?

Oh! You gave birth in the time i was away.”

Lilas. ”Hahahah yes honey, time surely flies.”

Ayla. ”Congratulations sweetheart, can i hold it for a little.”

Lilas hands her the child, ”For sure, you're his aunt!”

As Ayla held it, she took a closer look...and felt that he's not in a good state!

”...He's awkwardly silent, and feels hotter than he should.”

Lilas' smily face disappeared, and a sad one took its place.

”...Yes that is what i noticed, I fear that he's fallen sick and as you know we don't have the necessary means to treat him!”

Ayla. ”Don't worry, follow me to the house.”

As they arrived, Ayla lays down the baby on his back and brings a bowl of hot water. with some natural plants.

”From where you got those?” She asked.

Ayla. ”During the time I was away, i was actually studying natural medicine.”

Lilas was surprised. ”Is that so??

Oh my dear, this will be very useful to our people.”

”I hope so.” Replied Ayla with a smile.

Then, she proceeded to mix the plants in hot water, took a piece of cloth and soaked it in and put it on his forehead.

But in fact, each time she would put it in his forehead she was using her powers secretly!

She can not use them at once because the lights will appear and Lilas will find it suspicious. She has to make it seem as if she's naturally healing him.

The piece of cloth was large so that it can cover and hide the light.

15minutes later, the baby was put into deep sleep.

Ayla. ”You can take him now Lilas, if his state didn't get better bring him to me again.”

Lilas. ”Thank you so much honey, I wish to return the favor again.”

Ayla. ”This is nothing...”

During the next day, Lilas brought the baby again!

Not that his state didn't improve, it was the opposite. He looked so healthy and energitic that Lilas was overjoyed!

”Look!! This is incredible Ayla.

You're really good.”

Ayla laughs. ”Hhahahahaha but do not forget to thank God who puts cure into the hands of men.”

Lilas. ”You're right, Thank God for everything we have.

We've all seen how fast it can be taken away by the evil...”

The news spread between the citizens, that Ayla went abroad to study natural medicine and that she's very good at it.

Now, without realizing it instantly. She's their healer!

In each case, she would treat it differently according to the kind of problem.

If it was a a physical injury, she would apply her mixed natural medicament on it.

If it was an internal problem she would either inject it through their veins or by drinking/eating.

But in any case, she would secretly use her powers to treat it.

However, to not make it seem like something miraculous, she's having the people come and get treated step by step.

”You're truly a gift from God!” said whomever was treated by her.

It seems in the two weeks and half that has passed since everybody's comeback.

Ayla was having the best kind of life so far.

But is it going to continue being this way??
