Qingfeng Li and his group left the Forbidden Area of the Kunlun Mountains quickly in just a little while.

They hadn't gone far when he felt an acute pain in his heart. He threw up a mouthful of blood and weakly fell onto the ground.

”What's the matter, dear?” Xue Lin asked worriedly. She was frightened by the view so she ran over to help him stand up.

Not only her, both Black Puppy and Sky-Devouring Snake looked at Qingfeng Li with worry.

He had just bled from his nose and now he was bleeding from his mouth too. This must have caused him a lot of essence blood.

It could be seen from his pale face and weary expression that Qingfeng Li was injured.

He looked at Xue Lin as he spat out another mouthful of blood. He said in a low voice, ”My heart is aching badly, like something important to me had been taken away.”

Xue Lin had experienced such feelings before. She also spat out blood when she heard about Qingfeng Li going missing.

”Could it something have happened in Eastern Sea City?” Xue Lin murmured in doubt.

She knew that most of his relatives, friends, and classmates were in Eastern Sea City. He would only get extremely worried if something were to happen there.

Qingfeng Li nodded. ”I also felt something big happened back in Eastern Sea City. Let's hurry back.”

He did not want to waste precious time. He took an elixir out of his interspatial ring and swallowed it to replenish his vital essence and heal his injuries.

Then he hurriedly headed towards Eastern Sea City with Xue Lin, Sky-Devouring Snake, Black Puppy, Miaoyi Jiang, and Skeleton Devil.

Since Qingfeng Li was very worried, they sped up and got back there in less than two hours.

The first thing Qingfeng Li did upon his return was to look for Ruyan Liu.

He did not see her. But her crying sister Jiaojiao Liu was still there.

”Why are you crying, Jiaojiao? Where is your sister and Little Apple?” Qingfeng Li asked as he felt that the scene did not bode well.

He knew that Jiaojiao Liu rarely cried. She didn't even cry when she was abandoned and kicked out from home with nothing.

However, now she was wailing ceaselessly as if something heartrending had happened.

Jiaojiao Liu lifted her fragile head at Qingfeng Li's familiar voice. Tears burst out of her eyes as she ran into his arms.

She was crying so hard that she couldn't even talk. Tears dripped off her face like streams. She was so agitated and upset that she didn't know what to say.

”Try to keep calm, Jiaojiao, and tell me where your sister and Little Apple are.” Qingfeng Li wiped off the tear on her face and rubbed her cheek. He transferred some vital essence into her body to help her settle down.

Jiaojiao Liu looked at him as she kept on wailing. She was too agitated to talk, which wasn't helpful at all.
