1705 The Essence of the Vine (1/2)

The Chaos Millstone looked at the spirit curse that the Mother of Vines released the way one would look at delicious food, its whole body trembling with excitement.

The Chaos Millstone shot out black and white lights forming an S shaped Taichi pattern flying forward.

The Chaos Millstone was like a tiger coming down the mountain, opening its sharp mouth and suddenly swallowing the cursed snake and the green vine with a flash of black and white light.

The cursed snake and the green vine that were powerful a minute ago became startled bunnies, trying to escape. However, they were not as fast as the black and white lights and were eaten up.

The Chaos Millstone was shaken with excitement after eating the cursed snake.

The misty light on its body became shinier and brighter. Its body then turned to a streak of light, a black and white pillar of light, rushing towards the Mother of Vines.

The Mother of Vines was shocked, she did not expect the spirit cursing skill that she got from the Immortals Cave to be broken by the Chaos Millstone so easily.

”I didn't know that this black and white millstone was a supreme treasure from the depths of chaos,” The Mother of Vines shouted out those words while turning around, trying to escape. She had lost all arrogance and pride.

The Chaos Millstone would not let the Mother of Vines go because it discovered a spirit seed deep inside of her. That spirit seed was the one she had gotten from the Immortals Cave.

The Chaos Millstone moved quickly and suddenly blocked the Mother of Vines' escape route. Then, the black and white lights turned into two streaks of lightning and pierced through the Mother of Vines's body.

The Mother of Vines screamed miserably as a phantom of a humanoid green plant flew out from her head, seeking to escape, but the Chaos Millstone shot out a streak of S shaped light and turned it to ashes.

Deep inside of the Mother of Vines' body, there was a green seed. It wasn't a big seed, only about the size of an egg. However, it was emitting an immortal aura. This was a spirit seed formed by an immortal after he died in a seated posture. Hence, it contained a hint of an immortal's spirit.

Qingfeng Li was flooded with excitement. He knew how powerful this spirit seed was. If he could extract energy from it, his spirit energy could improve drastically.

Qingfeng Li quickly rushed towards the white spirit seed like a streak of lightning and tried to grab it in his hand.

But the Chaos Millstone was even faster. It shined out a pillar of white light and sucked the white spirit seed deep into its millstone.

Qingfeng Li's demeanor shifted, ”Chaos Millstone, you already absorbed the spirit energy of the Mother of Vines. Leave something good for me.”

Chaos Millstone did not respond but burst out an excited scream. It turned to a streak of light and entered the brain palace of Qingfeng Li's mind. It found a quiet place and began to refine the immortal's spirit seed.

Qingfeng Li boiled in anger. He thought that he would get something at least, but in the end, nothing.

Although, after some consideration, he realized that he did receive something good after all, which was the fact that the Chaos Millstone killed the Mother of Vines and solved a big problem for him.

Qingfeng Li suddenly grew serious because in the spot where the Mother of Vines had died, he found a tiny green plant.

The green plant was not big. It was only as big as a palm and as thick is two chopsticks. It radiated sparkling and translucent light. The white light pillar that the Chaos Millstone shot did not kill it. It was something special.

Chaos Millstone took away the immortal level energy seed from the Mother of Vines but did not notice its essence.
