If it weren't for the Headless demonic corpse in the underground cave, Meng Lin and the other two would have killed Qingfeng Li already. To them, Qingfeng Li was as detestable as the Headless demonic corpse.

Meng Lin's face turned green as he said angrily, ”You bastard, Qingfeng Li. Why are you in the cave? And where is the spiritual root? Get out here!”

Qingfeng Li laughed as he walked out arrogantly. ”You're a dumbas*, Meng Lin. You are too late; the spiritual root has already become my energy.”

The reason he walked out of the cave voluntarily was to protect Mengyao Xu and Ya Yun from being disturbed during their refinement.

They would definitely get hurt if Meng Lin, the Sky Array Emperor, and the Spirit Talisman Emperor rushed into the cave.

Hence Qingfeng Li took the initiative and left the cave. He needed to deal with Meng Lin, Sky Array Emperor, and Spirit Talisman Emperor.

Since he had already reached the second level of the spirit monarch realm, he was not afraid of the three of them at all. The spirit monarch realm techniques he mastered could challenge those higher level than him.

Qingfeng Li was so fast that his body appeared like a tornado. He came out of the cave from the very deepest area in a second.

Meng Lin's eyes shone a cold ray when he saw Qingfeng Li. ”Didn't think you'd dare coming out from there. Don't you know your death will arrive as soon as you came out?”

Qingfeng Li laughed loudly and said in disdain, ”You are pretty confident, Meng Lin. It's still unknown who's going to walk out of here alive. Death might be your fate.”

The Sky Array Emperor on the side sneered cruelly and said, ”Meng Lin and Spirit Talisman Emperor, let's take this guy down. Since he took in the spiritual root, we can take the spiritual root out of his body for our own practice.”

Meng Lin and the Spirit Talisman Emperor nodded at his words in agreement.

Although Qingfeng Li took in the spiritual root, it only happened a moment ago and some of it hadn't completely been taken into his bone marrow.

As long as they killed Qingfeng Li and extracted the spiritual root, Meng Lin, the Sky Array Emperor, and Spirit Talisman Emperor could still level up their power by taking it in. This was extremely tempting for the three of them.

Qingfeng Li glimpsed at them lightly and said loudly, ”How arrogant you are. Are you actually seeing me as a sick kitten? If you wish to be dead, then I'll grant it and give you a ride to hell.”

He lifted up his right fist all of a sudden as golden lights shone from it. There were different Seal Scripts of Order blinking on the fist. His target was the Sky Array Emperor instead of Meng Lin.

He held grudges for the Sky Array Emperor because this cruel evil fellow had just suggested extracting things from Qingfeng Li's body.

This fist was not only quick but powerful. It ripped open space and appeared in front of the Sky Array Emperor in no time. Meng Lin and the Spirit Talisman Emperor didn't even realize Qingfeng's intentions before it happened.

The Sky Array Emperor was frightened. He whipped his array scepter ahead with full strength to block Qingfeng Li's attack. However, the scepter was no match for Qingfeng Li's fist at all.

The array scepter cracked at the fist and at the same time, the Sky Array Emperor's body was forced back a dozen steps force. His energy and blood rushed strongly inside of his body, almost causing him to spit out blood. He forced himself to swallow it back in.
