1949 King of Sunlight Bugs (1/2)

Xue Lin and the others were all relieved when they saw that Qingfeng had killed the ten or so sunlight bugs.

These little bugs could spit out high-temperature flames reaching nine thousand degrees. If someone was burned, then they would become a pile of ashes. Most importantly, the rest of the group didn't possess the Golden Flames, so it was very difficult to kill these sunlight bugs.

Qingfeng looked at the Peach Blossom She-Devil beside him and asked, ”How many sunlight bugs are there usually? Are they lone animals or move in swarms? Are there also other species that we need to watch out for?”

The Peach Blossom She-Devil had just noticed the sunlight bug, and Qingfeng valued this woman very much, as she had plenty of knowledge. She must have come from a mysterious force, and she must have seen plenty of the Crimson Fire Continent's scrolls and have knowledge on a lot of ancient objects.

The Peach Blossom She-Devil frowned as her face turned white and she said, ”There are tons of sunlight bugs. Legend has it that five thousand years ago, the King of the sunlight bugs was one of the Sun Monarch's most important warrior beasts.”

It once ruled over ten million sunlight bugs with great dignity. Even a higher-tier kingdom could be entirely burned by them.

Cold light appeared in Qingfeng's eyes, if there were ten million sunlight bugs, then they could definitely engulf everyone currently in the Sum Monarch Tomb.

Qingfeng was powerful and could kill the sunlight bug, but once there was a great amount, then even his physical energy wouldn't be able to withstand it.

Just then, Ya Yun walked over and said, ”Don't worry, this is the Sun Monarch's Tomb. There couldn't be so many sunlight bugs. It wouldn't be able to hold ten million sunlight bugs, or else they would have flown all over.”

Qingfeng nodded, and thought that Ya Yun was right, as he said, ”Come, let us leave this place.”

Qingfeng let Xue Lin walk beside him, as he reached out his right hand and pulled on her hand, to protect Xue Lin from harm.

Mengyao Xu walked on the other side, and closely followed beside Qingfeng, while the other women followed behind Qingfeng. They could notice that amongst everyone there, Xue Lin and Mengyao Xu were closest with Qingfeng, so they followed behind to give them a chance.

After a moment, the group arrive at the borders of the prairie.

Qingfeng raised his head and looked over, noticing that there were over ten thousand self-cultivators gathered at the border of the prairie. He has met all of these self-cultivators outside of the Sun Monarch Tomb and now they were blocking the way.

Before all of these self-cultivators were herds of sunlight bugs. Qingfeng looked over and noticed plenty of sunlight bugs on the borders of the prairie, numbering roughly a hundred thousand or so.

Qingfeng breathed in a gasp of cold air and said, ”How could there be so many sunlight bugs? It's horrific! They could destroy an entire intermediate-tier dynasty.”

Peach Blossom She-Devil had read about the sunlight bugs in ancient texts and was very familiar with this species.

She walked over to Qingfeng's side, raised his snow-white fingers, and pointed to the sunlight bug in the very front and said, ”Look, that's the King of sunlight bugs, the ruler of all the sunlight bugs. It has led hundreds of thousands of sunlight bugs over here. Once you kill it, then those sunlight bugs will automatically disperse.”
