Qingfeng Li carefully observed the drained planet and sensed an extraordinary presence from it.

The presence was familiar to him; it was the chaotic presence that he had encountered before.

Since he possessed a chaotic ultimate treasure, the Black-and-White Millstone, he was familiar with this chaotic energy presence.

Besides Qingfeng Li, even Treasure-Seeking Mouse had sensed the difference.

The word ”treasure” it spat out had hovered above the drained planet, but now it had been turned into sparkles by a mysterious energy and vanished.

Treasure-Seeking Mouse said in a low voice, ”Master, I sense the presence of Chaos Spirit herbs from the drained planet; however, great dangers are hiding there too and they are making my soul tremble.”

”Even an immortal master can't scatter the word 'treasure' I condensed with the Law of Energy, but it was easily erased here, which means something extraordinary is concealed in the drained planet, probably something at the pinnacle stage of the Immortal Realm. We must be careful.”

Qingfeng Li nodded and said, ”Got it. Let's go in there.”

Qingfeng Li drove the immortal ship toward the drained planet below them.

While they descended, Qingfeng Li felt special energy which was different from any energy he encountered in the Universe's Saint Realm; it was something he had never seen before.

This energy was grey and contained the grey presence of death, eroding everything around it.

The top of Qingfeng Li's immortal ship began to disintegrate into particles before vanishing in the universe, which stunned Qingfeng Li.

He knew that his immortal ship was not an ordinary thing. It was made with Thunderstruck Wood, Immortal Ice Grass, and Black Wood Immortal Ivy, which were all immortal-grade materials. But now it was being eroded by this mysterious energy.

Besides the immortal ship, Qingfeng Li found his own body was being eroded and openings began to appear in his skin.

By his side, Black Puppy, Sky-Devouring Snake, and Treasure-Seeking Mouse were not faring better; their fur began to fall.

Although only three to five hairs fell, they were terrified of the change.

After all, they were animal ancestors who had cultivated to the immortal beast realm. What was the mysterious and weird energy that even they couldn't resist?

The Treasure-Seeking Mouse said in astonishment, ”Master, bad news. This is the Death Race Curse. According to the legends, there was a bountiful planet that had been cursed by the Death Race in the Chaos Era of the Universe.”

”The Death Race is a special species who possess and passes death energy. They erode all things that are alive or have life energy and disintegrate them into particles before absorbing them into their own bodies.”

Qingfeng Li frowned, finding the situation quite tricky.

He released the immortal energy in his body and formed a defensive light shield around the immortal ship to protect it.

However, the moment his defense light shield was formed, it was eroded easily by the grey particles.

Not wanting to admit defeat, he launched the Heavenly Immortal Chant, Mortal Purgatory Body, and other techniques, but they were all useless.

The grey misty particles contained horrifying energy and the orthodox techniques couldn't block it.
