139 Pasta with Love 2 (1/2)
In the kitchen, Yve hurried up as she knew that Vince is already awake. She looked at the chef beside him and asked,
”May I trouble you to do the plating of the garlic bread and to prepare the rest of the needed utensils? We need to hurry up.”
”I will gladly do that.”
As soon as the chef obeyed her order, Yve began to cook the pasta sauce. She first cooked the bacon until golden brown and drain it on paper towels. She then season the chicken on both sides and cooked it in bacon fat. After which, she melted butter over a medium heat and added garlic and onion. She then added the cream, pasta water and parmesan and let it simmer for 2 minutes.

Some of the chefs can't help but be amazed at the lady in front of them. Truly, she's not a professional like them but even them can feel the love that she's putting in the dish.
'Love is the most important ingredient of this dish.' They all thought. From that point on, they knew, they will never be able to recreate the dish for their boss because they only have respect for their boss. Their bond and feelings weren't deep compared to the lady cooking.
Finally, Yve seasoned the sauce with salt and pepper. Soon, she added the pasta batch by batch until all the noodles are in the pan. A few more minutes had passed and the sauce finally thickened and coated the pasta. To complete the dish she added the bacon and chicken. Once out of the pan, she put it on the plates and garnish it with parmesan and parsley.
”Finished!” Yve said and all the kitchen staff clapped their hands in amusement of the lady in front of them. Yve blushed and felt a little bit embarrassed when Chrysthe approached her and said,
”Ms. we don't have enough time. He called me once more and I think he will disperse the rest of the team if we don't come back soon.”
”I see.” Yve said and placed the pasta on the tray. Finally, she looked at the chefs and said,
”I will send my secretary as soon as I finish writing the recipe for you. Thank you for your help and for letting me use your kitchen.” She bowed afterwards and earned the respect of the kitchen staff.
None culinary staff won't actually understand how important the kitchen is but the woman in front of them not only understands but truly cared and respected it. The head chef was deeply touched by this and said,
”Ms. if you need any help in the future or if you want to use the kitchen once more, feel free to do so.”
”Thank you so much!” Yve smiled and left with Chrysthe pushing the serving cart.
Meanwhile inside the suite, Vince can't focus on the documents on top of his desk. He had called Chrysthe so many times and this man has ignored them consistently.
”Why won't he give me an idea on what is going on?” Vince was now looking at his laptop with Yve's picture as the wallpaper when he rememberedhis note last night.
”I need to plan the proper marriage proposal for her.” Vince said to himself and started to get busy.
But when he least expected, there was a knock on the door. As soon as he stood up to check who was it, the door opened with Yve and Chrysthe. He walked straight to Yve and hugged her. Yve was shocked but didn't complain. At the back, Chrysthe is scared as Vince's deadly eyes are throwing daggers at him.
