152 Fight she will Lose (1/2)

This happened a few hours before the Board Meeting at Stones Enterprises' main office.

Nyelle is inside the car on her way to the private hangar of Vince together with Edward. Vince approved with her leaving the base as Edward will be with her.

”Edward?” Nyelle looked at the man who is driving the car beside her.

”Yes?” Edward replied with a hint of sweet tone.

The past few days he has been stalking Nyelle around the base and finally knew who she is beyond the betrayal she was forced into. He realized that she's really not different to how she introduced herself before. However, ever since their talk inside the interrogation room, they haven't talked much. It seemed that Nyelle is avoiding him. Well, he can't blame the lady after the outburst and hurtful words he said in the beach. He decided to take things slowly this time.

He is certain of some things. This woman is the second one he let inside his heart who betrayed his trust but the first to earn it again. Deep inside, he considers Nyelle a special person.

”Who is this guest we are going to meet?”

”Actually we have guests. The first one is a famous chef and the other one is a ring designer.”

”Ring designer?” Nyelle asked and looked at him and instantly understood.

'Vince must be planning to prepare a wedding ring for her friend. But what about the chef?' Nyelle thought but didn't realize that she voiced out her thoughts until Edward responded.

”The chef is Yve's favorite, so I heard.”

”Huh? You heard the question in my head?” Nyelle asked.

Edward laughed at Nyelle's question which caused the lady to turn her head away from him with arms crossed. Edward glanced at her and said,

”You said your thoughts out loud. Haven't you realized it?”

”Then you should have told me instantly instead of laughing at me.” Nyelle continued to sulk.

”I'm sorry.” Edward said and focused on driving.

Silence filled the car as no one dared to talk. Both of them were thinking about what just happened.

'Edward, remember to take things slowly….' Edward reminded himself.

'Nyelle, Edward might still hate you for what you did to Yve. So don't keep your hopes up.' Nyelle thought to herself.

Just like that, they have reached the plane and saw the people they need to welcome is about to come down. Edward hurriedly opened the door and Nyelle did the same thing too.

”Emika, long time no see!” Edward shouted and approached the beautiful lady wearing a Japanese modern kimono.

The cloth is made of silk and the color showed blue on top and a red skater skirt. Her hair is curled on the ends while maintaining a smooth, black hair.

'She's so beautiful!' Nyelle thought to herself and noticed how different they both look together. She accented her Japanese beauty so well.
