179 Date with Spies 3 (1/2)

”Are you ready for another exciting ride, Edward?” Nyelle asked.

”Ready when you are. HAHAHAHAHA.” Edward laughed and ran towards the location of their next ride.

”Hey! Don't leave me behind!” Nyelle shouted that stopped Edward in his tracks.

The man turned around and walked back to her. He grabbed her hand and walked together. Nyelle stared at their hands and felt the warmth as they slowly walked.

'Cringey as it seems but time really slows down when you're with the person you like.' Nyelle thought to herself.

To their luck, Swing Ride's passengers had just got off and the line wasn't very long. They were able to make it to the next batch. Edward was the one pulling Nyelle to a different seat design.

”Let's sit here, Nyelle.” Edward pulled Nyelle into one of the two seats and fastened the protective belt before sitting on the opposite side.

'This is a couple swing! Did he know about this or he thought nothing about this?' Nyelle's thought continued to wonder.

'I hope she will not mind that I chose to sit on this couple swing.' Edward plead in his mind.

”Haru we should get close to them this time!” Emika said as he pulled Haru in one of the couple seats not too far from the EdNyelle couple.

”Okay, I understand. Just calm down, will you?” Haru responded as he positioned himself appropriately.

He knew that theirs wasn't a date to begin with it but still a part of him can't help but enjoy the moments. Like in the eyes of others, they can be one of the couples having a date.

Then a buzzer was heard signaling the start of the ride.

Edward and Nyelle are smiling at each other as the ride starts turning not knowing that Emika is throwing daggers at them. All of a suddenly one side started to go higher and in the couple seat's case, one of the seats experiences the same. Shocked by this change, Nyelle shrieked and held onto Edward's hands tightly.

”EDWARD!!!” She shouted and closed her eyes.

Edward smiled at her and saw another side of hers.

'So you can be this cute, too like the other girls.'

When the ride started to change positions once more and sped up, Nyelle didn't let go of his hands which made him more happy. For him it means that she's trusting him more. With what happened between them, he knows that it would best to take baby steps in their relationship.

As soon as the ride calmed down and they were told to get off, Edward noticed that Nyelle isn't moving a bit. He started to worry as he saw Nyelle's pale face.

”Nyelle, are you okay?”
