261 Confessing the Truth 2 (1/2)
Yve washed her face and changed into her casual clothes and Vince did the same thing. When Vince saw how she changed her outfit, he also did the same thing. As they were about to leave, Chrysthe was already waiting for them with the car.
”Chrysthe, how come you...”
”He woke up at the time I arrived.” Vince answered for Chrsythe.
Yve nodded in an answer and instructed Chrysthe.
”To the base, please.” This simple instruction shocked Vince and Chrysthe. But as soon as they settled in the car, Yve sent a message to all the members of Team Alpha including Edward to head to base and prepare the reports of her failed assassination.
'So the Lady Boss is planning to inform Primo of what happened. Maybe the Boss also admitted what happened during Maddie's kidnapping?' Chrysthe thought as he drives the couple to the base.
On the other hand, Sylvan and Edward got up and hurried to the base as the message of Yve instructed. They left the house together with Sylvan driving.
”Is there anything wrong with Yve today, Sylvan?” Edward asked still in his pajamas
”Nothing from my perspective. Her work and studies are doing well.” Sylvan asnwered.
”Then it must have been Vince. Do you have any idea on why Yve called for us early in the morning?” Edward asked the observant subordinate.
”This is just a hunch but may the Young Madam want to reveal to the Boss her failed assassination.”
”Then Vince must have told her the truth about Auntie's kidnapping then.” Edward added.
”Sylvan, we need to hurry.” Edward exclaimed making the latter hurry to their base.
With that simple instruction, Sylvan steps on the gas to shorten their agony of thinking what's going to happen next.
In a short while, Team Alpha with Edward, Vince and Yve have assembled in Vince's private office as instructed by Vince.
'For Team Alpha to be involved in this secret, it must be a big one. They even hide it from me. My wife's orders are getting to my most loyal team. Not that I mind it, of course.' Vince thought to himself as he noticed the teamwork between his wife and the team.
”Young Madam, are you sure about this?” Vince heard Slayne asked Yve for confirmation.
”Yes. He deserves to know the truth.” Yve replied and left with no choice, Vince saw Slayne handed out envelopes to her.
”You can all leave us now. I will just call you when we need you. Thank you.” Yve thanked them and with that order, only Vince and Yve were left inside the room.
