The old Daoist looked serious as he said, ”This is a chance that cannot be revealed.”

When Lin Xin'er heard this, she immediately covered her mouth and giggled, ”This is a good opportunity. You must have watched too many TV dramas, right?”

The old Daoist did not react to Lin Xin'er's joke and maintained a straight face.

Lin Xin'er said: ”Classmate, you're quite special.”

I know what Lin Xin'er said was the old Daoist's eyebrows, because I saw that Lin Xin'er was looking at the old Daoist as if she was looking at a dinosaur.

”We need more help from now on. My name is Yang Sheng.” The old Daoist suddenly stretched out his hand, wanting to shake hands with Lin Xin'er.

Lin Xin'er smiled. Her smile was like she was indulging a comical clown, ”En, please take care of me.” Lin Xin'er shook the old Daoist's hand.

Afterwards, me, the old Daoist, An Gui, and Lin Xin'er all went to the dining hall to eat.

After chatting for a while, I realized that Lin Xin'er was actually a very innocent girl. Furthermore, she had a pretty good appearance, but she was a bit awkward. She lives right next to East Eleven, East Twelve. East 12 was a girl's dormitory, and all the residents were girls.

After dinner, Lin Xin'er left. The old Daoist and I were preparing to return to the dorm. An Gui said that he was planning to go to the South Pavilion to find his girlfriend, but before that, he had to go back to the dorm to get something.

The old Daoist and I looked at each other and understood each other. The old Daoist said to An Gui, ”Remember to bring this.” The old Daoist gave An Gui another possession talisman.

An Gui accepted the talisman with a smile. He was a tactful person, and I could tell that he was disgusted by the talisman. However, he would not refuse the Daoist in front of him.

The three of us returned to the dormitory.

Quickly, An Gui took the things and left the dorm.

The old Daoist also prepared his Ghost Grab, so we followed behind An Gui.

An Gui continued to walk towards the South Pavilion Village with light footsteps. It seemed that he didn't notice that the old Daoist and I were following him.

On the way, An Gui suddenly stopped in front of a trash can. He then took out the amulet that the old Daoist had given him from his pocket. He threw the amulet into the trash can and continued walking.

”He actually threw away the protective talisman you gave him!” I'm surprised, I whispered to the old man.

”I expected him to.” The old Daoist said indifferently, as if everything was under his control. His sluggish face always carried a self-confidence that no one could refute.

Very quickly, we followed them to the South Pavilion Village. After An Gui entered the village, he walked around in the small alleyway within the village. Speaking of the alleyway, the lighting wasn't too good. There wasn't much light in the daytime, but it was very humid and the air was filled with a faint rotten smell.

Finally, Anjou stopped in front of a door, opened it with his key, and went in humming.

We hurried after him, only to find that the door was locked.

I said dejectedly, ”What should I do? I can't get in.”

The old Daoist was very calm. ”What else can we do? Unlock the door, of course.” After saying that, he took out the key he wore and dug out the earwax from the ring. With a pinch of his right index finger and thumb, he actually broke the spoon shaped little thing that had the earwax dug out!

Next, the old Daoist used the earwax to dig into the lock. After poking a few times, there was a ”da” sound as the lock opened!

”A godly thief!” I couldn't help but exclaim, ”Old Daoist, why do you know everything?”

The old Daoist lightly said, ”This is just a small matter. Let's go in.”

We slowly opened the door, went in, and slowly closed it behind us. I looked around. To my left was a flight of stairs leading to the upper floor. The footsteps of An Gui could be heard coming from the upper floor. It seemed that he had gone upstairs. The place was covered in dust, and in some of the corners, there were even spiderwebs. This meant that no one had lived here for a long time. Why would An Gui come here?
