Chapter 87 (1/2)

Bitten by a Dog

‘Lalalalalala–‘

This song had no lyrics but it seemed to be the music let out every time at a funeral service? Yet these few sentences were hummed happily by her.

No matter what, sooner or later, she would’ve needed to sing this. It’s not bad to practice this right now.

“It seems like WangFei is having a fun time playing? Where does it even look like you’re not in a good mood?” Suddenly, a gust of cold wind blew close to her along with peculiar words.

Qian DuoDuo turned around, alarmed. The dart in her hand was raised by the side of her face and she almost shot it out. She saw the handsome face from behind then moved her hand back. She let out a breath and rolled her eyes at Long YuTian: “Please make a greeting next time you come out of nowhere. Don’t act as though a ghost. If you actually scared my poor heart badly, can you pay for it?”

Long YuTian said nothing but lowered his head, staring at her as though a prey.

Qian DuoDuo swallowed her saliva and placed the dart on the table. She thought back to last time when he almost had raped her. In her heart, there was still lingering fears. Yet she raised her head, not to be outdone. She argued for what was right: “What are you glaring at me for? I am doing this for you. If it weren’t that this lady had fast reactions, then maybe this dart would’ve landed on your body. If you don’t believe me then take a look…I had shot it accurately right?”

As she said so, she pointed towards the portrait on the wall, as though not afraid of death. Not even half a second later, she seemed to have remembered who was the person on the painting. She fiercely took her hand back.

Long YuTian casted a side glance at the portrait and slowly opened his mouth: “WangFei is using Ben Wang as a target?”

“No…You are thinking too much ah. If you died, then who is going to give me money ah, right…” Qian DuoDuo carefully smiled. She hadn’t forgotten to pester him endlessly and added in some words that he hadn’t understood.

Long YuTian watched as, on one hand, Qian DuoDuo had smiled at him and on the other hand, she moved towards the side of the wall as though a crab. She ripped the portrait down and that careful expression led Long YuTian, at one point, to not know whether to laugh or cry. He was too lazy to argue with her anymore.
