”Let me ask him first.” Wang Yao called Tian Yuantu right away.

”Dengzhou?” Tian Yuantu was reluctant. ”You can speak to Sun Zhengrong. He knew a lot of people in Dengzhou. As far as I know, he also had business there. He should be able to help you.”

”Okay, thanks.” Wang Yao then called Sun Zhengrong.

When he was in Beijing over a month ago, he recalled that Guo Sirou was quite distraught about her grandfather's disease and subsequent passing. Therefore, she said she wanted to travel overseas, but hadn't decided when and where she would go. Wang Yao didn't expect her to return so soon.

”I feel much better now, so I came back,” said Guo Sirou with a smile.

”You've lost weight,” said Wang Yao.

The beautiful woman in front of Wang Yao did lose some weight. She had an aura of elegance.

”Yes, I lost some weight. Tell me about you though. When will your clinic open?” asked Guo Sirou with a charming smile.

”Just have to wait for a little while longer,” said Wang Yao as he added water into Guo Sirou's cup.

They chatted for a while, like two old friends who hadn't seen each other for a long while. It was soon approaching lunch time.

”Would you like to have lunch at my house?” asked Wang Yao.

”Okay!” Guo Sirou accepted the invitation without hesitation.

Obviously, she came very well prepared. She took out several well-packed gifts out of her car.

”You don't need to bring these stuff,” said Wang Yao.

”It's not appropriate to come empty-handed on the first visit,” said Guo Sirou with a smile.

Oh, well, why does it sound so awkward? thought Wang Yao.

Zhang Xiuying and Wang Fenghua were surprised to see Guo Sirou, who came with gifts.

”Dad, Mom, let me introduce, this is Guo Sirou, my friend from Beijing,” said Wang Yao.

”Friend? I see! Please come in and take a seat,” said Zhang Xiuying.

She and her husband set to preparing tea and food for Guo Sirou happily.

”Auntie, I can help myself.” Guo Sirou was a well educated girl. She made sure to show courtesy to Wang Yao's family.

When Zhang Xiuying was busy preparing lunch in the kitchen, Guo Sirou went to help, but Zhang Xiuying said she could just wait in the dining room.

Guo Sirou suddenly worried her visit might have caused some misunderstanding.

Zhang Xiuying didn't spend a lot of time preparing a banquet.

”Thank you for the food. It is so delicious!” said Guo Sirou.

Wang Yao's parents asked quite a few questions during lunch.

Zhang Xiuying asked Guo Sirou where she was from, how old she was, and how many siblings she had.

Wang Yao kept coughing, as if he had caught a cold.

Guo Sirou answered all the questions from Wang Yao's parents with smile.

She told Wang Yao's parents that her parents were public servants, and she was telling the truth.

Wang Yao somehow managed to survive lunch.

Guo Sirou left after lunch. Wang Yao's parents walked her to the end of the lane.
