The True Demon Technique had a total of five different stages.

As for the Bane of the Living, this stage represented the realms from the Qi Ant Realm, to the Qi Noble Realm.

The same as the Scarlet Demon Stage, the Bane of the Living Stage also possessed the same advantage of increasing the cultivation speed by killing humans or staying near recently killed humans.

However, unlike the Scarlet Demon Stage, the condition was no longer to just kill more than one individual.

Instead, Bai Long needed to kill at least ten humans or stay near more than ten recently killed humans to absorb the Yin Qi which was released by their bodies.

Once the Yin Qi was absorbed, Bai Long could keep it stored inside his body until he was ready to use it to cultivate.

This way, Bai Long wouldn't have to worry about there not being enough Yin Qi for him to cultivate at any moment, or worry about the slow speed of absorbing Yin Qi from his surroundings.
