21 Wesre Both Human and Vampire (1/2)
Diego hurried to the ship to give his assistance. When he reached the area he noticed that a car's approaching steadfastly. It couldn't be Tyler's car but someone elses.
”Slacovich, are you guys alright?” He stands beside them.
”Yeah, how about the escapee?” Sofie asked while blocking attacks from the enemies.
”I've taken care of it. Also wiped out the memories of the witnesses. Sorry but it already killed 6 people when I caught up to it.” His voice saddened upon recalling the death of the victims of the escapee.
”Don't feel bad about it, you stopped it before it cause more deaths.” Li taps his shoulder then rushed towards an enemy firing a shot to its heart.
”Li's right, for now let's focus on exterminating these monsters.” Slacovich messes Diego's hair.
They all heard the sound of a car that happens to park near the ship. Footsteps comes closer and closer about 5 people coming their way. For sure it's not an ally. As the newcomers arrived at the door, two men pushes a man and a woman inside. Then a woman's voice interfered with the fighting.
”If I were you, let President Hellgazer go.” She walks straight inside and helped Volton stand up.
”It's you!” Sofie exclaimed in annoyance.
”The serum may works perfectly on you but President Hellgazer's not a failure. The time I've spent working at the facility was enough to understand Dr. Brischt's formulation. And all the records he kept was in complete detail. It wasn't hard for me to figure it out.” She unbuttons a few buttons of her blouse exposing her neck to Volton. The latter buries his fangs into her neck sucking her blood till he's satisfied. Dr. Spencer loses her balance as she felt drained after President Hellgazer drinks so much of her blood this time. The fight's taking a toll on his body. Now that he's well refreshed, he intends to get serious on killing them before the night runs out.
”Thanks a lot my dear Theresse. You, take her home and the other one shall remain.” He pointed out to the two men who arrived with Dr. Spencer.
”How pathetic. You're keeping her by your side to be your source of food. That doesn't mean we're gonna retreat just cause your thirst is satisfied.” Sofie exclaimed in disgust.
”Let's see how you're gonna fight your way to stay alive. Have you forgotten your still outnumbered, and the fact my thirst is relinquished there's no way your gonna beat me.” Volton's speed doubled. Slacovich couldn't almost keep up. He's men followed him and attacked them all at once.
”Th-this isn't going to be good.” Slacovich keeps blocking Volton's punches. The speed and the strenght of his attacker is very different from before. He knows he can't keep up with his attacks. He shapeshift into a bat and flies away to keep distance from him. Volton's able to grab his feet and throws him down to the floor. He changed back into his human form and broke his right arm when it hits the floor.
”Damn! He's stronger than before.” He coughed out blood. The other vampires aren't tempted by a fellow vampire's blood. The serum rejects its scent in a way. Little did the Hellgazers know that the first generation's blood can stabilized the effects of the serum in the body. But will never satisfy their thirst for human blood.
”What now President Demonfire? I've heard there are six of you, how come you're only four of you here. Trying to plant a spy on me? That won't do, I'm gonna kill all of you one by one. I've heard that Harry Demonfire was seriously injured. Will you just let him suffer till his body deteriorates?”
”He thinks Harry's a vampire.” In his mind. ”We're not like you who depends on human blood. Harry would never hurt humans even if it's the only way he'll recover. Sad to say, you lost your humanity when the serum takes over your body. That just means, your just being a host of the serum and let it control you. And that's your weaknes!!” Slacovich rushed forward pushing Volton on the wall, he choke him up with his elbows while restraining his movements.
”What makes you think your superior than me!” Volton rages and turns into his vampire form. He consecutively punches Slacovich on his stomach. He beats him up pretty badly almost collapsing. Sofie executed a sneak attack but failed. Volton raise her up by gripping tightly on her neck choking her. He then let's her go and kicks her with a full force. Seeing Sofie hit the edge and in great pain. Li and Diego kicks him at the same time, before they can even land their feet on him he's able to grab them both and then slamming them to each other. They're all bleeding from their wounds, broken bones and pain all ober their bodies.
”You guys are full of spirit a while ago, did I scare it all out? Heh!” Volton grips Slacovich's hair tightly, pulling him towards the tied man and woman which Dr. Spencer took with her to the ship. The two were begging for their lives, both sobbing in fear.
”Please let us go! We've already paid for our crime!” The woman exclaimed in fear.
”Let's see how you differ from me President Demonfire.” Volton slit a wound on the woman's neck deep enough for it to bleed. The scent of blood filled the area and his men starts raging wanting to bury their fangs on the woman's neck. Slacovich and the others smelled the blood and their blood starts to boil. They tried very hard to fight the sensation, eager to stop the themselves from raging. Volton let's go of his grip and watch the four of them suffer. He also slit a wound on the man's wrist to add up to the temptation of blood.
Diego starts crawling towards the woman which happens to be beside Slacovich. Li takes out her gun and aims it on Volton. She hit him at the left shoulder missing his heart. Her accuracy's pretty bad for she's totally beaten up. Volton feel down on the floor, the silver bullet on his left shoulder is like poison to a vampire's body. Diego takes the chance and gives Slacovich the red pill. This time, the red pill was greatly enhanced by Dr. Harry, not only it calms the serum but also helps then regain part of their strength and helps them regenerate even more faster. After taking the pill, Slacovich gives Diego and the others as well. All four of them are healing up and back at their feet.
”How is this possible?” Volton asked confusingly.
