13 Haven and unexpected Company (1/2)
Logan and Leliana were wandering in the Frostback Mountains looking for Haven. When they suddenly stumble over a little village were a guard stopped them.
”What are you doing here this village doesn't allow strangers to enter it.” says the Guard to the two, and Logan answers, ”We are looking for a store where we could buy some provision we are low right now on them.”
”Go the way up once there you will see a store there don't go any higher since in the chantry the people are praying.” says the Guard to them and sends them away.
Both go a little bit and stopped where the Guard couldn't see them. Logan says, ”That was easy now comes the hard part. We might have to massacre the whole village if we are not careful, do you understand Leliana.”
”Why do we need to massacre the whole village?” asks Leliana and Logan answers, ”Because they are a cult of Dragon worshippers who think that Andraste is reborn in the Dragon they worship so be careful until we arrive at the chantry.”
”How do you know so much of the village since it's your first time here,” asks Leliana Logan, who says, ”That is my trade secret,” then he begins to laugh, ”Nah just kidding with you. I just fear you would call me a heretic after telling you everything, but if you promise to tell no one else but keep it in the group with the Wardens I can tell you who I really am.”
”Fine, I won't tell anyone I promise this by the Maker,” says Leliana and Logan tells her about it on the way the short version of how he comes to this world not telling her what he really is for now. ”So you were sent by some God to this world for his amusement,” says Leliana and Logan corrects her ”Godking a God can't send you around other worlds on a wimp of his. It would be good not to underestimate him.”
”Who do you think would win The Maker or this Godking?” ask Leliana Logan, who answers, ”Godking no doubt and if you doubt he might send me a letter how he could kill your Maker just snapping his finger most likely. So let's not talk about it.”
Arriving at the chantry the both were attacked by the cultist at the entrance. Logan cut through them like nothing and Leliana shoots them down. Finally entering the chantry. Father Eirik says, ”See what we have here some intruder who murder our brothers and sisters and don't understand that they are on holy-” says Father when he gets interrupted by Logan who cuts through his mouth and says, ”Bla Bla holy ground blah blah reincarnation of Andraste blah blah Dragon all boring if you asks me.”
The people run in panic out of the chantry out of fear being the next victim of this cold-blooded killer only the guard stayed and died shortly after that. Logan goes towards the Father and picks a mechanical flower from the dead body and goes over to Leliana and says, ”Now we have the key, but we miss someone we need. Look for a secret door and you will find what you want.” says Logan in a little riddle and Leliana answers, ”We are looking for a secret room where someone is inside it.”
”That's right now let's look for the secret door first,” says Logan touching every wall in the chantry with Leliana's help. After finding it and looting the chantry they walk into the secret room and find a man lying down hoping that his kidnappers would end this already and finally kill him.
”So you are finally here to end it. I won't tell you how I found this place and-” says the man when Logan interrupts him and says, ”Old man your kidnappers are a little busy with Lady Death so let me and my beautiful friend accompany you today.”
”So you aren't with them good my name Ferdinand Genitivi but you can call me Brother Genitivi for short. What brings you here if I can ask about it,” says Genitivi looking at the two. ”We are here for the same reason as you the ashes of Andraste. Can you stand or do I need to carry you to the temple?” asks Logan looking at the leg thinking, 'Forgot completely about his leg.'
”If you could carry me it would help me a lot. My leg got crippled when the bastards caught me,” says Genitivi to Logan and Logan picks him up over his shoulders like a sack full of potatoes and carried him. Logan walked in front with Genitivi while Leliana followed.
Arriving in front of a ruined temple Genitivi showed them how to open the door and left Genitivi at the entrance to study the ruins. Logan and Leliana fought their way through the temple killing Cultist and some Dragonlings and Draco finally arriving at the last chamber. The both meet Kolgrim leader of the cult, who says, ”How dare you to shed blood in those holy halls and kill Andraste's children.”
”We don't have time for that let's just fight so I can kill your fake Andraste and get the ash of the real one,” says Logan back to Kolgrim and as fast the fight began as fast it ended with Kolgrim dead body on the floor. Walking over to the body Logan picks up a horn from it and both leave the ruins just to meet with a high dragon that is sleeping on the top of a mountain.
”We aren't going to fight it, are we?” asks Leliana a little nervous. Logan says, ”Yes we are but you will wait until I have its full attention before you attack.” The Leliana has gone pale thinking about fighting a high dragon. Logan takes the horn and puts it in his mouth and blows it and the dragon woke up and started to fly down.
”Let get ready to rumbleeeeeeee,” says Logan and runs straight in waiting for the dragon to land.
Once on land Logan jumps at the Dragon and tries to pierce it with small success. He only could give it a scar. The Dragon attacks with his claws Logan who blocks with his sword and swings his sword upwards so the dragon losses his standing and then he keeps attacking the dragon. Logan uses his Bladedancer ability to become even faster. The Dragon seeing the Logan radiating Lightning out of his body and his sword tries to stop him with his Firebreath but Logan evaded that easily and keep attacking when suddenly an arrow hit the dragon's eye making it blind on the right side. Seeing this Logan takes advantage and tries to kill it by jumping at the open standing throat of the Dragon and piercing it but it didn't go all in Logan let go of the sword and says to Justice, [I need them right now.]
Justice materializes two guns in Logan's hands and he begins to shoot the pommel and the sword goes slowly deeper in when suddenly the Dragon attacks Logan with his claws again in rage hitting him hard. He starts flying towards a wall and thinks, 'Damn if my bones were not of metal all were broken after this hit,' he tries to stand up and his body doesn't want to do what he wants to, 'My muscle aching a lot right now after this hit come on body heal faster.'
